Built in the 1930s to provide a town center for the Villeurbanne community which had grown into a city of over 85000 was this Art-Deco masterpiece.
Eleven storey flatblocks along a boulevard flanked by a pair of eighteen storey towers...
Quite a contrast to the Ville Radieuse ideas of Le Corbusier!

A few pictures and graphed comments from the (alternative) side of Central (Paris) France. My apologies for any offence for the profanities included.

Jaude Square (Place de Jaude), in the town centre of the city of Clermont-Ferrand, in France.
This city is the home of the Michelin tyres, populated by about 200,000 inhabitants, in an old volcanic region.
In this photography, you can see the Jaude Center (Centre Jaude), the main mall; the Lafayettes Galeries (Galleries Lafayettes), in the left; and the fountains of the square.
The square is empty, anybody here, is this photo because it was taken a Sunday...
Let's discover the world, our cities...
