aircraft carriers are like floating cities, they have a mayor, (the captain) and the city council, (his officers), deputy mayor, (executive officer), intelligence and navigational officers are congressmen, senator and assorted political hackers, but unlike the political machine which abuses our tax dollars, these men and women operate and maintain this floating city, and when this floating city is at sea it becomes american soil. the ship was commissioned in sept. 1945 and served in nam and won its first airstrike in 1965 against two mig fighters. it won the last air battle in 1973 at the end...

San Diego, a fun city to visit,...

author: jack : San Diego, CA

image 27418
Scrooge was asked to donate and give to the poor and he replied with, "are there no prisons, are there no workhouses," and so with all the opulence surrounding these homeless people is there no refuge for them or rather do they prefer the streets and wait for a handout, is there an abundance of food for them elsewhere and they roam back to the streets like evening flies to a light ready to be devoured by a predator, a women passerby and the waif of the harbour, could their roles be reversed or does the passerby have the mind...
