Montreal, Quebec City and Vancouver have had restrictions put on the height of buildings not just because of the view of the surrounding hills or mountains, but also due to the...... EvilGentleman: Ironically, I have seen taller buildings in Iqaluit, Nunavut.
And the buildings in Montreal were originally not allowed to be higher than Mount Royal (much like Halifax and the Citadel). Nowadays, the heights of the buildings......
