isnt that how it always works? the people who embark on these sorts of projects are always ambitious... yet...... jeeff: i've seen photos of the lake in winter - really fantastic. i'm sad to add to your report that lake ontario is pretty toxic as well. most of our beaches are perpetually closed...... jeeff: no. i was dealing with a major cockroach infestation for the first time in my life (they're much more common and larger in size in tokyo than in toronto). i wanted to keep...... jeeff: it's called the gardiner expressway in toronto. cutting off the waterfront with an ugly raised expressway must be right out of the 50's/60's urban planning textbook....
