i liked that line. i feel that way sometimes in my city, increasingly often this winter; its an...... Peter: i imagined it slowly and menacingly rolling through the {east village}, using its windows to condense/reflect/focus sunlight into death-ray beams that it will use to decimate any non post-post-{postmodern} {architecture} whilst zapping all the area...... greaser: post modern hunters being fed postmodern food of e numbers and refined sugar rather than champagne and caviar!!... elaine: commodification is about turning something which is not 'naturally' a commodity into one. historically the body has been seen differently in different cultures, but typically as the mortal carrier of the soul, whether sexually celebrated...... Peter: the express here in nyc looks very similar. post-postmodern glassy curtain walls. consumerist architecture at its blandest.... Peter: well, linda, i can see how you might be a bit befuddled, but then again, this postmodern world isnt without callousness for the inflexible.
