(actually i've never had one)... dfwtiger: The name....pickled eggs....and pigs feet. When I was a kid, you would see these two items on the check-out counter of small stores in the rural south. The name envokes many memories. ...... procyon: 1. is there such a thing as a pickled egg? (or, more importantly, someone who will eat it?)

Only thing thats missing on your chips there is Chippy Sauce - we in Edinburgh have it, its like a watered down version on HP but when your chips are drowning...... Talking of dodgy foods, after reading this thread I was hungry (chips! Pickled eggs!) so I went to a great Pollo A La Brassa place here in Astoria, Queens for lunch.
