Peter: linear parks can be problematic? how about {riverside park}? its one of my all-time favorite parks in {nyc}... not only have i spent countless hours lounging about in it on sunny days, watching the river...... anon (cpe-24-164-154-80.si.res.rr.com): once I asaw a guy litter on my bike. I opened the passenger wdoor and threw the pepsi can back in. aparently he couldn't find a spot in NYC and had to pee...... Peter: "question fixed gear"? huh? ive been riding fixed/trackbikes for years and never ended up in the hospital. also: im not snotty, and i can assure you that most of the people involved in the above...... Peter: im not sure its technically legal, but there are a handfull of groups here in nyc that go around "harvesting" clearly abandoned bikes... they take the parts and frames, clean them, rebuild them up into...... Peter: 1. if i lokced my bike up like that in nyc, especially with quick releases, id come back to a bike with no wheels :)
2. where oh where can i get a 60oz jug of...... Peter: wow, a bike room? that rules. i wish we had those in nyc... enough people here ride, but were treated as 2nd hand citizens, mostly.
