Take a look at this boarded up oddity, on the short, quaint oddball strip of Goodwin Place. A boarded up house next to a new development, how odd! You'd think they'd try to buy them...... They nosh on the street?... Peter: also fun: calling the payphone at the boathouse in central park (212-650-0786) and asking how the weather is. its nice; sometimes, you can chat up a passerby for about a half hour, if youre bored....... Biff: Hey, This should be in the NEW YORKER, that's what is all about.... EvilGentleman: I dunno about this... My {Things I Hate About...} series is about those little things you encounter in everyday life that drive you nuts, thus giving people an outlet to release some of their pent-up...... jack: instead of tearing down the west side highway with all that wonderful cobblestone, they should have made it a pedestrian way. new yorkers should have more green and more free walking space.... Peter: linear parks can be problematic? how about {riverside park}? its one of my all-time favorite parks in {nyc}... not only have i spent countless hours lounging about in it on sunny days, watching the river...... Peter: lol jamie! check the comments on [[1680:this entry]]. blech! {yummy taco} is one of zillions of "ghetto-chinese" places that are a phenomenon in {brooklyn}, that though they serve cheap, fast (and often low-quality) chinese take-away,...... Jackie: There's some kinda crazy about the fact that this very bridge is on the lake where they've filmed a number of those spring break "girls gone wild" videos.

Peter: i have it. every so often, when i move or rearrange, it turns up. in a box. on a shelf, under the desk, in the nightstand drawer... i do not display it or make any......
