I've lived by myself in Bushwick off of the Jefferson Street stop. My theory with being a single woman living in any part of NYC: take the subway until a certain part of the night...... Here's some wiki info on The Montrose, although in the wiki, they refer to The Montrose as Neartown. No one really calls this area...... colavitos ghost: i never imagined that such beautiful streetscapes existed in houston. what type of neighborhood is the montrose, anyway?... ian: Google's satellite imagery is approx. 3 years old. The freeway, until recently, went OVER Montrose. The entire freeway was trenched 20ft below grade, and now Montrose runs over it instead.... ian: That's nice. We're considering moving over there, to the Parc IV condo complex on Montrose @ Alabama. Maybe I'll consider this building as well.... ian: There's a fantastic paste-up on the light box at the Richmond/Montrose (or maybe Alabama) intersection.
