I was thrilled to read about...... Jennifer: This is so not representative of Montreal! Montreal is a city where you can hang out safely at night without being scared of everyday street gang attacks. Of course, attacks happen but not...... Paul: I live in downtown Toronto and I think our downtown is quite impressive, with the coloured lights on the Skydome and CN Tower it really enhances the night view and the Royal Bank Plaza glitters...... Pat: as a montrealer, it was a very interesting outsider view... (most of the time more informed than the insider view of course...) Yes, I agree with CE, Montreal changes a lot with...... EvilGentleman: I guess I stand corrected, albeit with a bit of egg on my face. Would you believe that new condos in Montreal often look **exactly** like the lighter coloured buildings in this post? Especially the...... CE: It is important to remember that every city has many different faces and this is just one of them. Montreal has the ability to change drastically from one block to another. Just a...... EvilGentleman: The first pic is on Rene Levesque Boulevard (Dorchester to **true** Montrealers) looking west past Place Ville Marie.
Second pic is Place Ville Marie, which was the tallest building in Montreal for 25 years starting in...... EvilGentleman: To my way of thinking, graffiti should be both encouraged and it's location controlled within reason, with penalties for those who put graffiti in places where it has no business being. Now, before you all...... EvilGentleman: This morning, I was driving my wife to work by a different route than normal and came to a red light. I realized that I needed to make a right turn a few blocks ahead......
