... Jamie: it's just the way my camera picks up orange street light at a 1/4 second shutter speed. 1 second or more and you get truer hues but my hand isn't steady enough for that shit....... GGP: well, hot damn! this is fabulous.
i love the primitive graininess and the watercolory hues.
makes me think of an early 60s road movie, or rudy burckhardt's photos of queens...and films.

yeah, the strange reddish and purplish hues come from the cameraphone... i installed a hack to get better saturation (think: lomo-like cameraphone!) which, though drastically improving the resolution/saturation of the photos, causes those hues....... Peter: I really like looking at older pictures like these; the colours and hues all look slightly different. In my mind, I can almost percieve that the world, 30 years ago, actually existed in those hues......
