actually, several places up and down {washington} avenue in my hood sell such barrels... most of them are groceries or {west indian} supply stores...... Christine: But No Frills is growing bigger and bigger. Everyone in my community pretty much shops there and of course, I work there so i would know how many people are strolling in for groceries.... thanks for the contributions, too. these are some neat photos!... Peter: its only a few blocks away from the [[2355:voo voo building]]. i love this part of town. id live there if it was a little less remote. it has easy subway access and all, but...... Your Own Worst Enemy: Some know the system, some don't. A few systems that are known very well in HP - drugs - how to sell them - how to run them - how to avoid getting caught and...... Peter: a bodega is a hispanic grocery... more like a mini-mart. usually open all night, with an atm out front. they sell sandwiches, beer/beverages, a limnited amount of groceries, lots of snacks, smokes, cleaning supplies, etc......... Peter: i was riding the {kronan} yesterday, actually- we went to get {groceries} after work, and needless to say, it can haul ##a lot## of groceries! we have the old green ww2 {kronan} too, but it...... Peter: heh. there are plenty of stores like that around nyc... on the avenue near where i live, theres a bodega (corner-store) that has had rotting cassavas and squashes in their window for several weeks... yet......
