Searching the Internet for information on Dubrow’s Cafeteria and the Famous restaurant on Eastern Parkway at Utica Avenue, I discovered this wonderful site. It brought back many wonderful memories for...... Edward LAMB: I am very familiar with this tunnel having personally "discovered" the place way back in 1969...
The following, if you please, is an excerpt from my own story :

Barren Island, which appears on few modern maps, holds a special place in the city's garbage...... joey: and without the flatiron building. i always stop by this photo when it shows up in 'from the archives' bin... Monica: To answer Mala's question the Flat Iron Building, which is the main venue for the Around the Coyote Art Festival in Wicker Park has been in it's location for years and still houses many artists...... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I was confused for a second because I thought it was the Flatiron in New York and somehow it had shrunk. Nice atmospheric photo, though.... EvilGentleman: Hmmm, interesting. I have never encountered this data before. I know that if you look at a topographic map, you can see an easily identifiable line of hills and mountains sticking out of the flat...... S: If you get a chance to tour the Flatiron Building (also known as the Gooderham building) during the upcoming "doors open", I would highly recommend it. That building still has it's original 1892 elevator (still...... jack: italian taco - take an un-cooked pizza pie in the round and place browned chopped meat (pure angus) with fried onions, peppers, and mushrooms with olive oil (extra virgin) some scrambled egg and pinoli nuts,...... Peter: i dont recall that film well enough to remember, but i did just google this...
