ian: I have mixed feelings about Pelli's designs, but in particular, I've always thought Canary Wharf was a bit of a chubby skyscraper. Feels like an extrusion of a soulless suburban office park. It's severely lacking......

elaine: Less than funnily enough, just post 9/11 I was teaching just next to Canary Wharf in Docklands which was thought to be the natural UK target, and I was extremely concerned about my students......
