You may have grown up in an age of abandoned warehouses, but at one time they were in use. and let us...... Peter: abandoned tracks, unused hopper-mills, latent bucket-loaders, a crumbling waterfront, disused warehouses, random piles of refuse and dilapidated building-parts... i call ##wasteland##, for sure, despite the 5% of this area that seemed in-use with the {dumpsters}...... Peter: ahh, the nebulous "its not very safe" comment. do consider some context; as the area is comprised of partially abandoned freight lines, abandoned/decaying warehouses, business-hours-only industry and empty lots strewn with trash, what do you...... Nobody: id be more concerned about bankers and politicians adopting a "proposition or morals" before i would concern myself with writers doing it, ha.
but it does raise a point... graf is just like anything else. there...... Peter: theyre tearing down pretty much ALL the old graf-covered warehouses in {harrison}, the ones all around the {path} station there, and many on towards {journal square} too. any idea whats up? i mean, i knew...... John : I mean, as a lifetime resident of megalopolis, I find this fascinating. I mean, what do people DO in these places? Name the garbage and stray cats?
I can't even imaging how...... Peter: i dunno, cay. that sounds like scaremongering... or maybe you just had some bad experiences... ive been out and about around there a lot really late at night... never had any problems. i mean, i...... mark: check out the nw industrial area. there's several dead railroad lines to walk around, some interesting factories/warehouses (one that stores old floats from parades), and a couple abandoned, burned out passenger train cars. if i...... Chino: Carbon monoxide, rats, pollution, abandoned warehouse and blood stains next to beautiful
flowers in the midd 80's to late 90's is how my youth was raised. Yet I still love my city better know as Chicago!......
