aer suzuki: ...uh yeah, and those dirty pink stuffed pigs are the worst, they'll really mess your day up...cool shot.... aer suzuki: this is a great set of shots, thanks.... aer suzuki: hey joey. well last fall/winter i lapsed into drawing & painting mode. then in spring my camera broke. it only sort of works now, so it's more difficult to go and do extended photo adventures....... aer suzuki: very cool...... aer suzuki: Awesome. Views of a city I've never seen before, exactly what I come to this site for, thank you for posting.... aer suzuki: First of all, I would never, ever call myself a "real Seattlite" and I think I made it clear that I'm the only person I know who calls the building the Darth Vader building. As...... aer suzuki: very cool, well represented in black and white.... EvilGentleman: I would agree with the majority of what has been said, but I will state my opinions on each issue, so it becomes obvious where I stand.
I think the best way to have notification on...... aer suzuki: nice set, love the church and the bridge, top picture is my favorite, and #6 is interesting, makes it look like sf is a city with character...never been, planning to. thanks for the photos.... aer suzuki: fantastic shot.... aer suzuki: very cool thanks for posting it... aer suzuki: thanks jack... aer suzuki: nice, love the colors.... aer suzuki: this is such a cool post, from the pictures to the comments, just cool.... aer suzuki: that's a freaky cloud...anyway, i like that style (of all the graf pictured) i haven't seen anything like it before. you still just see the big puffy letters here, mostly.... aer suzuki: procyon: yeah, when i first moved here i expected it to take off at any moment...
all: thanks for the comments... aer suzuki: thank you... aer suzuki: nice set, especially numbers 4-7...i can only see down to the crosswalk photo though, i'm on dial-up and can never get your full posts before the red x syndrome sets in though, but these are...... aer suzuki: thanks CPW...GGP...
these look darker than what i thought...dealing with a new monitor...but that's ok.... aer suzuki: that is a damn fine shot...... aer suzuki: yeah, although you really only see them on capitol hill, which is just a neighborhood within seattle proper.
i wish there were more in my area, but i think they get cleaned up around here....... aer suzuki: "how many people get their car washed at 4am?"
people who just pulled a body out of their trunk and dumped it into a large body of water...there's always those stray pesky bloodstains.... aer suzuki: so...what, in "shoot the freak" do they have a real live freak runnin' around in a sunken cage you shoot at? i'm a freak, i'll take that job, what does it pay? should i pack...... aer suzuki: this is awesome, what a shot...... aer suzuki: laura : yep that's cool, thanks
ggp : thank you
we've been having a sort of indian summer here and i'm diggin' it. although on one of the days i took these it was slightly overcast, but...... aer suzuki: almost looks like there's someone crouching on the corner of that lower, darker building, but probably some type of ornamentation i guess...cool shot.... aer suzuki: yeah this is nice.... aer suzuki: maybe i should've titled this post 'reface opps' to avoid confusion, but i like the title and didn't know about the graf artist, thanks for the link.... aer suzuki: thanks all, and you're most welcome jack.
as city dwellers our eyes are maybe trained to look straightforward and side-to-side to look out for ourselves, but i find myself looking either down or up to...... aer suzuki: brilliant, glad these re-surfaced.... aer suzuki: very nice, well shot and the tones look excellent.... aer suzuki: grittiness, more grittiness...... aer suzuki: these are very good, especially the first two, nice work.... aer suzuki: sis : there are also words for peace on the left hand side. guess it's supposed to represent some sort of dichotomy, but it's still weird as hell. not quite sure how to interpret it....... aer suzuki: streaks of light, excellent. and they're so smooth and clear, did you use a tripod?... aer suzuki: beautiful. love the graf.... aer suzuki: thanks, joey... aer suzuki: you should submit this to the visual dicitonary peter:
http://thevisualdictionary.net
it's...well, it's superb. nice shot.... aer suzuki: clever. i like it better without caution, excellent shot.... aer suzuki: nice...... aer suzuki: in seattle at least, {stickers} are better than tags (in general) because the stickers are more actual art whereas most of the tags are just thin scrawly crap. piss-markings. although if you really look you...... aer suzuki: i got stuck in chicago during a blizzard once, we had to sleep in the car with just a couple of old army surplus blankets. it was no joke, but an interesting experience...nice post.... aer suzuki: i like both shots, but the shot of the gears is really freaking cool; nice mix of blur and clarity.... aer suzuki: big rubber hats that look exactly like turkeys for humans, and those green caps with a feather that people who wear lederhosen and yodel wear for the turkeys. little turkey-sized ones of course.... aer suzuki: where is this, i mean, what city? i like the 3rd nightshot. ... aer suzuki: yeah the similarity between dog and owner reminds me of 'best in show'. ... aer suzuki: i really like that first shot, and i'm surprised you didn't take advantage of the {graf trux} tag...nice post.... aer suzuki: thanks... aer suzuki: a graveyard please.... aer suzuki: beautiful shots. i really like #3 & #6, especially. the way things are arranged in the frame in #6 is well done.... aer suzuki: odd. i always pictured a fortress having doors that were more...formidable. or something.... aer suzuki: thanks... aer suzuki: nice...... aer suzuki: pretty majestic, even with the veil. i like the arches near the top.... aer suzuki: yeah that must be it, because the other half of the problem is having the trees/ground come out too dark. my camera only shoots .jpg and doesn't do well with sky & landscape combinations sometimes....... aer suzuki: i'm glad this one bobbed to the surface again, what a great series, love the theme.... aer suzuki: i like your post titles, didn't mean to suggest otherwise in my other comment...cool shots, the sugar packet made me laugh. those are great fonts they used as well.... aer suzuki: kadesh : the big pulsing third eye in my forehead. wait- which shot? the photo directly above your comment is someone else's, only the views from the harbor are mine.
i always picture {rainier} in relative...... aer suzuki: beautiful shot. the reflections work really well. what kind of camera do you use?... aer suzuki: yes, absolutely, and it seems to get more and more inescapable.... aer suzuki: never knew that, thanks i'll check it out. i also wanna go up to the observation deck someday.... aer suzuki: you never saw them when you lived here? yeah, i just recently heard you'd been in town. you should post some of your burning man shots here. i'll drop you a line soon.... aer suzuki: this is amazing, we don't have anything like this in seattle, to my knowledge.... aer suzuki: that's hilarious...the world's poster child for the illiterate.... aer suzuki: here's the follow-up : the bat does say "heck twm", and this is one of the paste-ups i mentioned above...

{heck}
... aer suzuki: thank you... aer suzuki: i like the shot with the umbrella... aer suzuki: yup. very cool post.... aer suzuki: [[img:16141]]
... aer suzuki: the only good cellphone is a dead cellphone.... procyon: Sirhcbre: 2 more, I think, but they're about the mostly-Nick-directed parts of the trip so I will have more photos than commentary and they'll be shorter altogether. :)
aer suzuki: Really? The '64 World's Fair fans...... aer suzuki: thankya...always wanted to visit nyc since i was a teen, have wanted to visit coney island since seeing photos on this site.... aer suzuki: this would give stanley kubrick a funny but very stimulating feeling in the pants, i'd guess. and i mean that with all due respect to you, the building, and mr. kubrick & his pants. cool...... aer suzuki: i really like the progression through time in these shots... aer suzuki: odd. this article showed up in 'recently viewed' while i was creating a post of two pictures i just took during a long walk home (walked through the same walkway you took the recent i-5...... aer suzuki: yup, that's some hool right there. that graf is gorgeous.... aer suzuki: ggp: the little bugger's been around for a while. check [[1911:fuzzytank's article]] from a year ago.... aer suzuki: fantastic post. i may not be able to look at the space needle again without feeling cheated somehow.... aer suzuki: yeah i like it, groovy, and goes well with the post title.... aer suzuki: thanks, well even though it's not my doing so much...it's a night-photo (yeah straight up) of a local bus stop sign. i was waiting for the bus looking at it thinking a single sticker is...... aer suzuki: wow i grew up in the hanna-barbera era too, wonder how i missed this...i woulda totally dug this as a kid. what am i sayin', i'd totally dig it now.... aer suzuki: ok i was slightly wrong. your {distorted baby face} and my [[5459:distorted baby face]] are different.... aer suzuki: nice. i really like that someone took the trouble to make that first sticker, and those black and white mutant panda critters are especially cool.
funny to see a few of these (distorted scary baby face,...... aer suzuki: as far as i can tell it says "heck - twm". i'll go up and look closer next time i pass it, if i think of it. it might be related to a series of...... aer suzuki: nicely done.... aer suzuki: spicy colors, looks good offset by the grey. nice shot.... aer suzuki: [[img:15964]]
... aer suzuki: coolness. i especially like numbers 3,7,9, and uhhhh 11.... aer suzuki: i love that picture, almost seems like a joke...... aer suzuki: sporks don't grow on trees, bill. i think these are cool photos, there's a theme running along and the spork makes a nice exclamation point.... aer suzuki: yup, though only two choices : tofu teriyaki with either yakisoba or rice. i hadn't really noticed the lack of vegetarian stuff at the time, since i was on a noodle hunt and only zeroed...... aer suzuki: nice find...i know this is an old post but here's a related link anyway:
~a collection of old found photos.... aer suzuki: excellent, i love seeing this type of random public commentary.... aer suzuki: ok this might be considered off-topic for citynoise but what the hell : i finally made it to the frye, pictured above, to see the henry darger exhibit and i strongly recommend it if you're...... aer suzuki: thankya
... aer suzuki: awesome post! haven't had a chance to get out on the road this summer too much, these are cool to see. nice colors too.... aer suzuki: yeah very cool shot.... aer suzuki: you have some majestic buildings down there, and that shot of the bridge is excellent, nice post. good to see it in {black and white} too.... aer suzuki: such a cool story of synchronicity - the gears of the universe matching up, or at least our small corner of it - and very good photos too.... aer suzuki: some shots look good unfocused, this would be one of them....
