Catherine Penfold-Waxman: The Lipstick building is on Third Avenue and 53rd street in Manhattan, New York. It's right outside my subway stop and after many years of walking past it, I finally got some pictures....

BZZZP: it's facing south, actually, from a ways up in lic/astoria... those lights you see at the bottom are the queensboro plaza NW/7 platforms. speaking of neo-tokyo/akira scenes, the poulaski bridge between queens and bklyn is excellent......

Korean restaurant in N.D.G. on Sherbrooke by the corner of Clifton. Was closed when I was there, at 3 PM on a Thursday, which leads me to suspect they may be out of business.
