October on the Danforth

Took a stroll on the Danforth today. Not too busy since it is Thanksgiving. Here's the new big box Shopper's that moved into town, rather large and overwhelming considering it is two stories high and about 4 storefronts across. Way out of place I think. And of course it's election day tomorrow, so lots of signs to be seen, although no green party sign in with this mixture. I thought it kind of ironic that this is a vacant lot. Kind of neat with the flowers peeping out next to the phone booth.

Old tracks poking through the pavement on rue , . A hole in the pavement on rue Gaspé in the northern part of the gives us a glimpse of the old cobblestones still beneath many streets.
