 i had relatives who lived in those house off the gowanus. we would spend much time on the rooftop. i have a photo of myself on one of those houses. i was a little kid with a big family and my uncle jimmy, (an avid boxing enthusiast) who boxed at one time would sit in his living room with all the lights out to watch a fight. it was better to watch tv with the lights out because the screen was small and the resolution poor at that time in history. so uncle jimmy would...
