A few years back I decided to go out and photograph the former locations of the New York Fire Patrol past and present. On 15 October 2006 the NY Fire Patrol was disbanded. At one point the Patrol had 7 companies and 3 Salvage Corp units. I was driven to work on this project as tribute to Keith Roma who was a member of the patrol who lost his life on September 11, 2001 during opperations at the World Trade Center. The Patrols primary duty during its existence was to protect property but when saving lives came into the picture...
