A Rare Ruin in Bushwick

author: upfromflames : Brooklyn, NY

image 18437
With all the changes in Bushwick's real estate landscape there are a diminishing number of sealed up houses like this one. Houses like this were sealed up in the 1980's to prevent them from becoming drug dens and targets for fire. A few remnants remain around the neighborhood, but its only a matter of time before they become gut renos. This one is at Troutman and Bushwick. See any on your block?
