this is a project that i've been working on for four months, and i've finally finished it.
our hands make us much of what we are. we shield ourselves from strangers, especially in city streets. these nineteen photos are an intersection of those ideas.
i walked the streets of toronto, approached total strangers and asked them to pose for the series. roughly two thirds of the people i asked declined.
