Previous Day :: Next DayAnonymous (216-211-204-59.firstgate.net): the 14th picture... i was there yesterday and i took a picture of that same wall =] steelisreal: i thought i would make my return to the site with a crappy picture for you guys.
i dont have a cam anymore other than my phone, mine was stolen....
so if you wanna take up collections to get me a canond d20 that would be great :) m norm: and there was me thinking the only one was between 11 and 12 on the m56! having had no idea what it meant before, it still brought me happiness to continually shout it Anonymous (80.178.133.251.adsl.012.net.il): Space Invaders movement is led by the anonymous Parisian, aka Invider, whowants his mosaics to invide the world... http://www.space-invaders.com/ M2!: stickers still were there till i got there and ripped them sins: calm down, man... it's JUST graffiti. you need to chillax, it's just a bomb, and NOT a metaphor for human nature. that's really pretentious.
Jafar is amazing, though, man. those pigs are massively important to the graffiti scene in toronto. i haven't seen anything really by him other than... ea: ea: ea: Peter: awesome. im totally gonna incorporate this photo into the citynoise navigation menu bar... Peter: that also might have to do with the fact that the us$ is alot weaker than the yen lately, too... Peter: heh. ten, we have mutual friends on friendster. welcome to cn, btw. AngelTenshiNerd: NY is one of these most expensive city to live in. I went to Japan three weeks ago and I payed 12 US dollar for a gallon of gas. A loft of bread is 20 bucks. www.myspace.com/angeltenshinerd elaine: ps your website made me laugh elaine: ha! you studied the form! Peter: rock! more!! elaine: and here is a little digital bee. so many possibilites, so few bathrooms!
elaine: kewel tenyen: space invaders are sooo iconic. not sure if I'd have one in my bathroom, kitchen or doorstep. the one below was photocopied and plastered all over my cube before I left my big job. note the telephone door handle. "Mr. Wizard, get me the hell out... arkavos: lol. omg this is hilarious. elaine: it would be good to do a big one in a bathroom or kitchen with regular size tiles, or is that just me? elaine: crikey, well done that researcher Peter: www.sixspace.com/gallery/invader2005/index.php
www.makezine.com/blog/archive/20 . . . 05/rubikcubism_spa_1.html
Peter: its a real tile mosaic. i have some shots of em from around nyc... lemme see if i can dig em up. Jamie: so is it like a real mosaic or a pasteup/stickup or what? or is it just painted? it looks like a real mosaic elaine: wow! really? cool. it would be good if someone could go snag the others for this page jon: that space invader was done by a famous street artist (he may do graffiti but i cant remember). theres one in nyc and la and im sure many other cities.
good find elaine: i will bear that in mind for a suitably gin soaked occasion Jamie: I'll let you in on a little secret. If you are very nice to him (and not too largely built) you can sit inside of him. He has a courtesy seat for your comfort and you can see through his eyes on an old colour tv screen. that is if... elaine: very spatial elaine: hee hee hee. i would be friends with him. i feel i could get really drunk and drape myself over him and tell him all my woes and he would cheer me up jeeff: ha, that's a great way to change the environment. Jamie: This guy is much happier
i call him HappyBOT elaine: ooh! he looks kind of sad, or like he had been peeling onions Jamie: what about this angry fellow? He lives inside a white 1995 fiat punto.
elaine: ta, mate. now i have to get the empty clock face from the mental hospital elaine: ha, peter, that is a cute little bot, and now it makes me want the cylinder things on the pic jamie picked out to be robots come in search of worshipping a robotbuilding... i think i am sickening for something... elaine: the thingies in the top one look like laptops from land of the giants Peter: id imagine that first, hed have to want to leave, which it doesnt sound like he does, or he wouldnt be so deep into it. elaine: ta, j, i made it up. i am a latent wordsmith Peter: hahahaha. highschool bathroom graffiti. *ziiiing* Peter: classic! Peter: shadow: i propose you get a crew together and throw the biggest race that nebraska has ever seen! you'd probably have no trouble getting sponsorship and having prizes donated by companies, as you'd have virtually no competition...
make a scene, man! make some crazy cards and make us jaded urbanites jealous... Peter: the little cement light thingers at the bottom of the first photo remind me of the robot from "black hole" for some reason...
Peter: i love this series... Peter: hahaha! NICE. love the kebab one, man! Peter: i love the before and after nature of graf. especially in places i pass on a daily/regular basis. i love watching the evolution. even when something bad goes over something good, sadly enough. i love seeing people coming along and "avenging" the going over with something even better :)
things would... Peter: me too. well said. the clear-sticker ones are cool- thats a fresh style! Editor:: fixed! thanks for the submission :) Jamie: i like the term ambient art Jamie: i agree. personally i'm a huge non-fan of tagging/bombing unless it's somehow unique and or equisitely executed. The sixy trolls were a modern masterpiece and their loss is a true crime. k: i think this is crap
elaine: hey, sketchbook boy, i await the graphic novel! elaine: yeah, jamie. i was sad to see it was gone, it felt like a hex. it was a good local landmark and tied together the other ones in the neighbourhood like a well hung exhibition (some local grafs from the time here). it does feel like a shame, spanky, but... Editor: Spankyou too Spanky! We try our best. SpankyHam: Thats so sad the banksy pulp fiction one is replaced by complete crap.
Majorly impressed by the editors here this is a well kept site. I guess it could be called "more graf photos from London" or something along those lines. Spankyou! elaine: more emptiness
Jamie: elaine: do you mean this one? i was sad to see that it was gone when i visited recently.
fuzzytank: public art... but the bigger attraction is to try to run up them and grab the top, its about impossible but i bet with some rock climbin shoes it would work
unfortunatelly we didnt have those an i think i bruised my tailbone no comment: geo. thermal: the street level is probably filled with cars shadow: Hey Peter.....no offense man....I get the point....you're right after all. Us flat landers (Nebr.) dream about places like New York and Boston. Enjoy....you live in an awesome place! Shadow jeeff: what are those big thingies in the first photo? jeeff: i like the worm. jeeff: hahaha fuzzytank: both buildings appear in those pesky architectural history books they want me to buy each school year
H. H. Richardsons Trinity Church (1873-7) is reflected in the glass of the John Hancock tower (not to be confused with the one in chicago)

an about the graf... the group was not with... xercess: woops no photots
: EXAMER: BITCH I DON'T EVEN GO LINCOLN NO MORE AND WHO THE FUCK R U U WAKASS NIGGA.
xercess: SLC goes from one extreme to the other, 100F in july and about 20F in winter. And to melt road ice in the winter heavy corosive salts are used. M2!: stickers that is mari: hey, umm my friend is in the alkqn and i was wondering if theres anyway to leave the alkqn, because he already ogt blessed, but i was wondering if he can still leave, if you can tell me yes or no, please do so, and email me at irockasss@aim.com Previous Day :: Next Day |
