Previous Day :: Next DayMike: My grandparents owned a bar at Front & Cambria in Kensington for years-until the late 70's. As a child in the late 60's/early 70's I could walk the block alone-everyone looked out for each other. Even though I was raised a suburbs kid, we spent every weekend at their place.The... EvilGentleman: Maybe all the adjoining homes own the alley, and they could not agree whether to pave it with asphalt or concrete. Ilona: Mmmmm...comfy. Peter: this one reminds me of a strip of photo-booth shots... in the subway... colavitos ghost: this is a really beautiful scene! Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Spooooooooky! jack: robert must have thought twice about putting his name down. jack: a self portrait of me. jack: good shots jack: i feel i can run down that alley. jack: very nice jack: old new yorkish style photo, around the 30's i'd say in a foggish manner, very quiet but active new york, just about to wake up. jack: wonderful picture. scary and there may even be ghosts lingering about. i'd like to buy it and open a restaurant in there. jack: my goodness i went out with the dark haired girl in the middle. jack: thank you barry, as i looked at the first pic i said to myself that you probably took it on a sunday morning and then to my delight i spotted the sun bathers on the roof tops, and then the wtc and i saw my old building in the background,... Steph R: I love this art because it stops people sticking to the chewing gum and it looks brighter.
I haven't seen any but the pictures are cool.
The art and it is a good way to make people be aware about gum issues.

Jamie: cellphone pics? nice contrast Samia Rida: beautiful photos..... lovely feel and style to them. The show a real sensitivity and sensuality. Jonathan: I tried Parkour one time in Kaiserslautern, Germany at a conference and loved it, though I was very sour for a week afterwards. Regardless I want to keep doing, though I live near Nurnberg now. Any schools in that area? cyril bagshaw:
Hello Les, As the ex greengrocer in Fiddlers lane that you remembered, I was very interested to hear that your mother had worked in the council offices opposite the old Palace cinema. My wife Ellen (Jaques)as she was, also worked there in Mr Jones accounts in !947 possibly about the... graff: there are no limits to anyones potenital if they are truly dedicated. graffiti brings tourisim to toronto not just murals, bombing and tagging (real graffiti) aswell. I agree with peter and i think police should use there time and effort to catch the real dangeros bad guys- toronto (queen west)... CE: This alley runs north/south whereas the railway runs east/west (by Montreal definitions which anyone from Montreal knows have nothing to do with what a compass might tell you). The trees that can bee seen in the distance are actually the buffer between the neighbourhood and the tracks. Ilona: I have no idea how to do that.:( Ilona: Just Brilliant! EvilGentleman: Maybe it actually belongs to the railroad. serlingrod: cool find. Previous Day :: Next Day |
