Previous Day :: Next DaySponder: It was Krispy Kream doughtnuts... anon (80.71.109.94): If I'm not mistaken, the LOVE artist is Richard England. The sculpture is intentionally inverted so that its mirror image would appear correctly in the water behind it (you can just see part of a boat in the photo). Bonnie : I saw the article in today's NYPOST about the death of Romeo and the injuries to the rider. I live in Manhattan and ride horses in Central
Park -- I've met some of the riders and they are amazing kids. Is there anywhere we can make donations to the program? ... zagg: blizzards are fabulous, and i'm ready! p69: if you're into the neighborhood, you'll be ok, bushwick is great, but i'd think that not having lived in nyc and landing in bushwick could be a big shock.
as for crime, it happens everywhere. look at the stats, crime is high in bushwick compared to other neighborhoods. Ger van de Ven: Anne 9th Oct 2006
Anne I tried to contact you but it said that your E-mail address was wrong.
Please send me the correct address neene: spotted 10/8, crown heights, brooklyn
Rachael: This is huge i never seen any thing t his big!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Super pictures. It doesn't look as crowded as I'd expect. Of course, now I'm thinking of the 1962 remake of State Fair (set at the Texas state fair). Ann Margaret stole the show. joey: speculation on my part. it might be the YMCA . . . since we can read the word 'Association'. joey: smell that incense! wafting . . . Susannah: I think I meant Seguine. Susannah: I believe I've been to the Pecan Capital of the world. I think it was Seguin or some place near it - home of the largest pecan. It wasn't as pretty as this though. joey: Willie Nelson's public statement regarding being caught with a bag of marijuana: "It's a good thing I had a bag of marijuana instead of a bag of spinach...or I'd be dead by now Susannah: Oh man you gave me a great idea- I NEED to get some lederhosen for MY turkey! I'm gonna put it on the Thanksgiving Table DRESSED IN STYLE. My family will be horrified, but I'm seriously in need of some good laughs. If you don't hear from me for a... jay: this pic is grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat! but it it vanderbilt and park or vanderbilt and prospect? looks like prospect to me. KEM198: A friend of mine told me SANE jumped off the Hellgate in Astoria. How that could happen and have him found in the Hudson would be odd since Hellgate is on the East River. He could have been found downtown though. I have a feeling my friend was rehashing bad... procyon: this definitely looks like an album cover to me. procyon: This is from last year, just before finals week (and before I was posting on citynoise, so I wasn't concerned with composition and so on here so much as documentation, but whatever)... I decided to post it now because the colder weather was reminding me of the Really colder weather... Brad: He was actually wondering how he screwed up so bad and couldn't find the West Indies :) dfwtiger: Thanks....It's been so dry the last few years...therefore, the pecans are small. bororudeboi: some bad boi grafin!! Pixie: Looking better, lots of work done but no official opening date yet it seems.... pera1: brap all da peterborough lot!! hold tite spoze whitey diner and all 23 aer suzuki: i got stuck in chicago during a blizzard once, we had to sleep in the car with just a couple of old army surplus blankets. it was no joke, but an interesting experience...nice post. zagg: fuck. chicago has snow right now? aer suzuki: i like both shots, but the shot of the gears is really freaking cool; nice mix of blur and clarity. aer suzuki: big rubber hats that look exactly like turkeys for humans, and those green caps with a feather that people who wear lederhosen and yodel wear for the turkeys. little turkey-sized ones of course. Sponder: Wow! This is beyond transcendental(ouch), I especially like the third parrot on the right...
Biff Sponder: Joey, What are you doing in Oakland??
Biff (Nice Rug) jethro: Tom Skilling's 7-day forecast
Monday
Very cold with occasional flurries. Near-record low maximums in the upper 30s. Freezing temperatures in the upper 20s to start the day. Partly sunny but still unseasonably cold with highs in the mid 40s. procyon: Do you have the name or any other shots of the building? ;) jeffB: thanks- its in Chicago. I thought I put that, my bad. My camera isnt very good in the dark so not many pictures looked too fantastic from up there ghost of grandin: the dachsund in the lady's arms..looks completely dead. or maybe he's playing dead so that his owner will leave him alone and stop putting bandanas on him. Sponder: Thank you Monsanto these are good genes...
Tran
Biff: Hool, where are you and the birds???
Biff Biff: It's name is Audry3, She wants me to come closer. Arghhr...Ouch! chiamattt: Kill it! Hurry! Before it's too late!!!! Biff: Wow! This looks like the west side of Toronto, the part I never see...
Biff Susannah: Go Gummo! Previous Day :: Next Day |
