anon (80.71.109.94): If I'm not mistaken, the LOVE artist is Richard England. The sculpture is intentionally inverted so that its mirror image would appear correctly in the water behind it (you can just see part of a boat in the photo).

p69: if you're into the neighborhood, you'll be ok, bushwick is great, but i'd think that not having lived in nyc and landing in bushwick could be a big shock. as for crime, it happens everywhere. look at the stats, crime is high in bushwick compared to other neighborhoods.
