Previous Day :: Next Dayjeeff: i'd sure like to try. EHONE: the mumi guy is cool i like him
EHONE: YAL WHO DONT RESPECT JA1 ARE FUCKIN WITH A KING HE IS MY MAN anon (zurvan.Concordia.CA): Where did you make the folds? aer suzuki: pretty majestic, even with the veil. i like the arches near the top. aer suzuki: yeah that must be it, because the other half of the problem is having the trees/ground come out too dark. my camera only shoots .jpg and doesn't do well with sky & landscape combinations sometimes. wish there was a way around that. need to upgrade someday...anyway thanks, appreciate the comment. hometownfan: Are there a lot of abandoned buildings in Portland? hometownfan: Wow. And this is IN the city limits? I've heard of
this park...how cool, you don't have to go far to go
for a walk in the woods. And that would be Tacoma
where it rains 14 mts of the years. Pej: really like the pics and title hometownfan: I really like the first one - random art...
Is this a municipal bench or somebody's own property?
either way - it's a cool thing - it doesn't HAVE to be there - somebody went out of there way to put it there. groovehouse: The first image is a scientology retreat and the top echelon operating thetans are channeling Xenu in that beam of light. TuDoR3L: http://www.parkour-iasi.net/ - pentru pasionaţii "Le Parkour" din Iaşi si nu numai. Anne: How can I help???? Seriously...my heart is full and I need to help this person. What do I need to do? You may contact me at annabell@gmail.com GGP: curioser and curioser... dfwtiger: I have a PowerShot SD600 Digital Elph GGP: with all due respect, what's the link between this posting and the mission of citynoise? J.: Awesome pictures!
WHAT is that first one? ak split: birds??? on wallz??? ak split: i axlly kinda like it ak split: thats um nice shizz rite ther ak split: nice!!! Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Air raid over a campsite? Man pushing a car sideways? A bag full of dog? Tyfoid Kid: I think the colors look great. Doesn't the overexposure come from the CCD in the camera trying to compensate between darker objects on the ground the bright sky? It's the algorithm it uses when it mashes all that RGB together to make that .jpeg file. That's why people shoot RAW... Cameo: I'm very impressed with the coffee cup sugar image... it doesn't look like it was staged at all. dfwtiger: BEAUTIFUL! EvilGentleman: I doubt it would be, if you or I had posted it, Mattt. chiamattt: why is this here? procyon: Wow!! What is that first one? sine: Update II: Electric Boogaloo
this right now from www.cnn.com
"Roth would not release details of Foley's alleged molestation, saying only that making it public "is part of Mark's recovery" and that Foley would discuss it further when he is released from a center where he's being treated for alcoholism and mental issues.... aer suzuki: i'm glad this one bobbed to the surface again, what a great series, love the theme. sine: Update:
I just watched the ABCNews report on Nightline about the Foley 'incident'. Earlier I had reported Mark Foley's connection with Scientology after he entered rehab in Clearwater, FL (Refer to above article). Segment one involved reportage on futher instant messenger conversations held between Foley and the teenage page, wherein Foley... zagg: i'm loving the 2nd one --- though it reminds me of threadless.com --- would make a interesting t-shirt image :D zagg: oh good, because I was afraid I'd have to bring up about the time my mom made him a black bow tie and cuffs with cuff links (i forget the occasion, this is over 15 years ago) or the time he ate my hamster... zagg: that is a fucking great compliment !!!
+ it funny because about 3 days ago I was thinking there should be a citynoise book! :D ksedge: i nominate photo 2 for the citynoise best of. pure awesome. ksedge: haha with a marker? ok, ok, a white german shepard with a marker colored mohawked wins! you win zagg. you win. harlequinpan: i love the roof parking lot,it's so simple. zagg: oh no worries - the previous comment would never stop me; i simply couldn't think / find a fitting lyric that I wanted to use.
the sugar packet: yes, please picture me at a outdoor european cafe, drinking my espresso and giggling as I fold my sugar packet to perfection and... aer suzuki: i like your post titles, didn't mean to suggest otherwise in my other comment...cool shots, the sugar packet made me laugh. those are great fonts they used as well. zagg: ksedge: how about a dog with a COLOURED mohawk? in Bear's later years I would randomly colour his 'hawk with marker :D
aer suzuki: kadesh : the big pulsing third eye in my forehead. wait- which shot? the photo directly above your comment is someone else's, only the views from the harbor are mine.
i always picture rainier in relative isolation. and i picture downtown sort of how it's displayed in my post, from the... zagg: None what so ever, ALTHOUGH! I did get an awfully nice meeting with my boss letting me know my temp. position was ending 3 months early: 3 days after christmas!
Also worked with racists homophobes each day, driving me nut-balls.
But I'm not bitter, no...
:D zagg: i, for two, also like the pointing silhouette. it worked out well. zagg: I always notice the difference between Canada and the US when I cross the border to Michigan and suddenly every space is covered in advertisements. Sure we have ads, no doubt but I would say a much lower percentage in your average area.
Billboardorama. zagg: death! you are my bitch lover!!!!
(if you're lost and confused, please watch Wedding Crashers) zagg: it looks like such a soft and cozy building -- hee hee. aer suzuki: beautiful shot. the reflections work really well. what kind of camera do you use? aer suzuki: yes, absolutely, and it seems to get more and more inescapable. Kadesh: When I think of Mt. Rainier, I always see that shot....
And the skyline of downtown is right on also.
How did you know? aer suzuki: never knew that, thanks i'll check it out. i also wanna go up to the observation deck someday. Kadesh: Yeah! I so climbed that think like 2 months ago. ; ) aer suzuki: you never saw them when you lived here? yeah, i just recently heard you'd been in town. you should post some of your burning man shots here. i'll drop you a line soon. aer suzuki: this is amazing, we don't have anything like this in seattle, to my knowledge. Kadesh: Also... The coolest place to photo this place, is from the little park in the back. You have to go up the front steps, take a left, and go all the way around. There is a tree back there... It's the greatest place... Kadesh: Yes! My favorite! The source of all evil. Bow down before it's majesty! Kadesh: I use to hate staring at this place from the bus stop! Kadesh: Getting stung is not very fun. I suppose that getting it over with while you're young is better though. Kadesh: I first noticed these on my most recent trip back to Seattle. I really wanted to tell someone about them.... but forgot. It is really awesome that they have been documented! GGP: somehow, it all seems realer in the puddle... GGP: excellent!! I'd like a copy of that for MY window! aer suzuki: that's hilarious...the world's poster child for the illiterate. jester: boyz in NSW are startin to find some form but i like the work down in melb very fresh ill c if i get get some of my own local work Previous Day :: Next Day |
