in response to Grafitti Train & Cabbagetown Stroll

Rose Garrison: What a sad statement the author of this article has made about small town living, he, who obviously has never experienced small town living. It is truly where the best begins and some of our most successful people have originated from small towns all across this nation. The quality...

Stephen Weir: What a great site for all those that grew up in Irlam & Cadishead, a real trip down memory lane.I spent the best part of my childhood (60's early 70's) in Irlam.Bestmemories include venturing on the ship canal in a leaky row boat, sitting in the girders of the railway...

in response to Ugliest Building in New York?

Chuckvideo: I love that old building! I hope they don't mess it up too much. I took a bunch of photos of it as well the last time I was in New York, about three years back.

in response to Child\'s Restaurant, Coney Island

Cashmir Jungle: I went her for this years Mermaid Parade Ball. It was really cool inside--all rough and falling apart. It's quite lovely.

nuclearrabbit33: Seems some people have the Robert Taylor homes and Cabrini mixed up. The Robert Taylor homes are the buildings which you see from 94. Cabrini would be hard to see from the expressway.

in response to Cabrini Green [whats left of it]

nuclearrabbit33: By the way, the Robert Taylor homes along south State St. have always been worse. There are the projects you can see from the Dan Ryan Expressway. I'd rather be lost in Cabrini any day.

in response to Cabrini Green [whats left of it]

nuclearrabbit33: I used to work for a carriage company in Chicago. We had to pass through Cabrini Green every single day...both on the way to downtown and the way back to our barns at night. In fact, we often went through the parking lot of the high rise at Division and...
