All joking aside - the birds are much like... peggtann: I grew up with the old radio programs. It was a time that people used their imaginations. Reading books also used imagination. Absolutley fantastic! I guess we've just gotten too sophisticated to enjoy such things now. I also worked at Coney as a "beachcomber." ( ie: garbage collector)for... Joseph Loughlin: Fascinating, but sad, to see the pix of Floyd Bennett Field. My father took flying lessons there in a Curtis Jenny after he returned from the First World War.
