They chose a Romanesque style for the 512-foot high structure with a mervelous quasi-Moorish dome above a four-faced clock, 27 feet in diameter,... so called original pearlies even knew what pearly kings... jack: the new york times has their press bolted to the rock of manhattan. jack: thats ok, it was good to see the pic at another angle. colavitos ghost: it would be interesting to make a mushroom milkshake with those mushrooms and that milkweed. little ukraine: sorry, misread your comment - thought you said you always say merry christmas to your non-christian friends, which just confused me. nevertheless, I don't think it should always be printed as christmas. little ukraine: fuck that! i do not say merry christmas to my friends who do not celebrate christmas. it's pretty rude. jack: good pic's, my old high school football coach, sam rutigliano was the coach for the cleveland browns for awhile. cleveland, good old cleveland, isn't that where the movie, 'a christmas story' took place? and remember kids, lets keep it 'CHRISTMAS' and not happy holidays...i always say happy holidays... little ukraine: from whence comes the great cleveland nickname, "metropolis of the western reserve." connecticut's western reserve that is.
GoG: way to go, fantastic shots and well-curated. GGP: frightening and divine jack: nice pic's ghost. i lived for 18 years in huntington when my wife and i started our family. the kids loved that village. thanks for the memories. little ukraine: yeeaahhhh. let's get this cleveland party started right. jack: susan, my wife graduated dominican commercial high in 1964. barbara goldbach, now barbara bach was in her class. she is on page 130 of the 1964 year book. GGP: Very nice. Those mushrooms look so spongey and welcoming--makes me wish I was a little gnome--I'd take a nap in the shade there... dfwtiger: Thanks for the comment. Yes....you're right. I should do a better job of grouping by themes/location. dfwtiger: Hum...I never looked at it with a reflection in mind.....but it does kind of look like a reflection. However, it is just a shot in a bar...no reflection. colavitos ghost: wow, neat. we have a place like that in NE ohio called "hale farm and village." it was founded by nathaniel hale in 1810, when the area around cleveland was known as "the western reserve." King Gati: Wow, after reading all this for about 2 hrs or so..I gotta say I laughed alot with some of you ppl...I'm rican born in NYC..Boogies down bx..I read how bad was or is HP, ...About gangbanging, Drugs, crooked cops etc..What I'm trying to say is..Everywhere you stand, walk, look, or... procyon: Hooray for soon-to-come Cleveland posts! little ukraine: that looks like a picture of an early tree i once drew little ukraine: yeah, I noticed that after I made the post - thanks! Wish I could change this one - Ed., any chance of that? Interested: So, JNJ, I appreciate the time you took to craft your response and feel that some of what you have said has shed some light on the situation for me. However, you do a whole lot of generalizing in your statements that I don't always think is fair. ... joey: do i smell a reflection? joey: may i recommend that you call the location Cleveland, OH? that way your post will add to the Cleveland, OH posts that have come before, you know. little ukraine: I think this one fits in this post. This boat is abandoned in the Patchogue River.
little ukraine: these are quite nice shots; I understand the thematic independence of each of them, but you should consider condensing your pics into larder posts to make them easier to view. zagg: er.... i mean xenu!!!! zagg: Praise xeno! Sirhcbre: As soon as I saw the post my first thought was "fuck, he got to it before me!" Everytime I walk by this I mean to take a picture and never do.
Classes are going well but I'm super busy and no internet access. Seems to be a bit... Previous Day :: Next Day |
