EvilGentleman: Hehe, it is at this point, CE, that our age differences truly begin to show.

in response to Wedgie!!!

Jonny Bud: Im now gonna call out gouranga when ever I see one displayed!!!!

in response to Call Out Gouranga!

BILROCK-161, RTW.: YET ANOTHER NEW-JACK, You are the same. It is obvious by the same imature insults you so freely hurl at someone you dont know anything about. I almost was going to be civil to you on 03/15 but after your indulgence in the most retarded racist diatribe, so much for that....

in response to JA: A True NYC King

Just a note: To the comment posted by "oh dear": Oklahoma is NOT part of the Midwest. It is technically considered to be in the South Central region of the United States. Please don't lump us in with Indiana, Michigan and Kansas. Oklahoma is a southern state.

in response to America's Most Boring Towns: 1

jason: i use to live in east 21 between beverly and coutelyou (flatbush). thanks god i got out of there. it was terrible. Their was gunshots almost every day. my friend marlon god stab in front of my building. now i am living in ave k wich is a lot better....

in response to Dangerous to Walk Around Brooklyn?

Joe: As I review most of the comments posted it seems that there are many faded memories of a better time for Kensington (including many of my comments and memories). I do love history and therefore I normally respect the values of reviewing and noting the past, but it is not...

in response to Kensington, Philadelphia - July 2004

CE: I would assume, however, even if you don't know metric you would know how many metres tall your truck is.

in response to Wedgie!!!

67502 May 7, 2008: Hutch has not grown since I came here in 1978. It's a retirement town with lots of low income housing and those people DO NOT support our downtown or help us stay in business. No great jobs for our children to stay in town. No shopping downtown...

in response to America\'s Most Boring Towns: 10

ChiPhi: Christopher and others, why is there always a: "...somebody needs to do something to help..." why don't people take responsibility and pride for their own? I have lived in this neighborhood for 5 years now and it is astounding how little respect for the 'hood most 'traditional' residents have....

in response to Humboldt Park & Gentrification

ci boy\'s: to mr. nobody, It is sometimes better keeping your mouth shut & have people think your a fool then to speak & remove all doubt. THE CONEY ISLAND BOY;S

in response to Coney Island Low

Mrs.L: For all of the people who are down on Hutch; how old are you?? For the people who think this town is such an awful place, you must be young. I am still in my twentys, but I love this town for the most part. Sure the employment is small,...

in response to America\'s Most Boring Towns: 10

dops: wow im 22 years old and live on central between melrose and jeff..its kool heaing all you guys stories about back in the days...

in response to A Rare Ruin in Bushwick

Mohd Sixy: I would lik to face a good wohmn

in response to Feeling Sixy?

EvilGentleman: Thanks, Mitch. You just saved me about 50 bucks worth of gas. I have been going downtown more often lately, specifically to check on the current status of Ben's.

in response to Ben\'s Deli

EvilGentleman: Let hear it for slinking! I am reminded of this post by jack. Nice one. Joey, the problem with the height signs is, they are all metric here. I have no clue how many centimeters tall I am, and if I was driving a truck, it would be worse. And of...

in response to Wedgie!!!

Flatbush Gardener: So, wiki-style links. Speaking of "regurgitating already widely publicized local events", you're welcome to get your information from DPB.

in response to Ditmas Park

janet: Steve--How wonderful that the football field bears your father's name! I remember the name (he wasn't also in charge of disciplinary cases too, was he?). I used to get the alumni bulletin from Tilden, but no doubt my subscription ran out. 1958 is the year I started teaching...

in response to Eastern Parkway Memories

optomystic: Why is everyone so upset? Just do what you are told and don't complain. Hutchinson is a wonderful place and don't you forget it!As a prisoner learns to love his cell- so will go your life here. Quit complaining and work hard for those in control.

in response to America\'s Most Boring Towns: 10

janet: I don't remember that event. No doubt it happened after I'd left the school (not a moment too soon apparently). 210 was pretty much a "tough" school because of the rougher neighborhoods it drew from. I regretted for a long time--still do--not having finished up those best years...

in response to Eastern Parkway Memories

prospects wife: I hear ya. It just makes me so made that people would rather believe stupid crap than ask questions. I never really intended to attack lames on this site. The one particular person I was reffering to has attacked the club viciously. As you know my husband and any...

in response to Hell\'s Angels - New York City

Bob Sisko: Does anyone remember the pizza truck that drove around @midnight. I grew up on Sergeant & Emerald in the 60's-70's and have not visited but twice. I am going back next week to drive through and remind myself of where I grew up. Remember Kelly's Corner on Kensington Ave?...

in response to Kensington, Philadelphia - July 2004

BigGaloot: Moved here to Hutch 11 yrs. ago for better job. Now job market is terrible here and no new industry moving in. Reminds me of Great Bend KS where all the old money wouldn't let any new buisness in to take a piece of thier financial pie....

in response to America\'s Most Boring Towns: 10

sam ross: ey gary thanks for that where in melbourne are you sam

in response to These Things No Longer Exist

Gary Sparkes: hey natalie yes im steves younger bro by 2 yrs

in response to These Things No Longer Exist

Michelle: "prospects wife", the only reason I wrote to you is because all the lamo-s who are keyboard jockey's on here are a joke. I can't believe every article I read and you seem to be on trying to defend people's lame comments a lot on here. I noticed the past...

in response to Hell\'s Angels - New York City

joey: in california all the bridges now have height signs posted.

in response to Wedgie!!!

Mitch: Just an FYI: Ben's is safe for at least another 2 weeks, there was a newspaper article saying the public has until May 21st to fight the demolition decision. If no one challenges it (or does but fails to make a good case) I'd expect the building leveled sometime before...
