T.G.M Mike: What$ poping 5'$ up 6 droping . I'm out here in Newark N.J on South Orange Ave off of Smith st with that red flag 93 Blood gang all day.cK all day Bloodz rule the Newark streets na-mean. Peter: heh. i love how they framed the buff. subtle... Peter: true, and this is why i cant go out when its raining... elaine: most lyrical, zen grafs, a new departure? elaine: keep faith, you do really great work, and you are in a fantastic groove right now elaine: apart from the robot bits, of course Peter: indeed... im still human! elaine: but like i say, a good runner....see, it is possible to be over 21 and still be human...who knew?
Peter: Amy, thanks for giving me your IP address... now i know who you are!
re: "speaking as if they never have been in school"... well, you might want to brush up on the grammatical uses of "their/they're" before you go criticizing the way other people talk... i mean, think about it.... American Wanker: its closeminded intolerant talk like where "Amy from KY" says "And you mother fuckers need to speak English. because this is America. Not Africa, not London, not any other country" that makes the rest of the world hate americans and get alienated by our backwards opinions and unfair feelings of... Anonymous (205.204.242.23): PETER: I WAS REFERRING TO THEM AS SPEAKING AS IF THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN IN SCHOOL IN THERE LIFE. NOW, I KNOW THAT THERE PARENTS WEREN'T THAT BAD AND NEVER EVEN SENT THEM. Peter: same here... man these 7-day week of 10+ hour days are getting sorta long, heh. fuzzytank: ;) thanks
been working tooo much lately and having a hard time making time to capture images for all the ideas. Peter: amy: what are you referring to when you say "this is america"...? this site? because how do you know where this site is, or where anyone here is from?
check the list of localities on this site: www.citynoise.org/hoods.php
america is hardly a majority.
so take your redneck anti-diversity elsewhere. liz: yo amy i feel ya dogg... all these bitches aint shit, let em come to the project's and really see wut's up holla! Amy from KY: I am a redneck.I am a hillbilly. or anything else you wanna call me. And you mother fuckers need to speak English. because this is America. Not Africa, not London, not any other country. prisma: so much packaging on those meats and cheeses. a definite far cry from the day that such victuals were packed in waxy papers and sheets of butcher's oilcloth. my how the world changes. everything just gets tossed into the rubbish bins and forgotten now. prisma: woah i see the robot in it. thats pretty kewl to visualise it like so. elaine: i don't know why, but i am liking the food theme in your pics HI: this building is tall Peter: i just now noticed the woman in the second photo... seems she ws not amused by my photo-taking, heh. viva le cameraphone! elaine: 42 if it makes a difference Peter: though the sunlight was nice reflecting off the river... to bad it had to cross the motorway and the river's edge construction to get to me... Peter: check this one out... puttin the "city" in citynoise :) elaine: fab. elaine: yeah, put work up. i felt constrained by the 'city' tag at first, but posted the dungeness thing anyway and brighton beach, you have to stretch things if you can, parameters, whatever. it's part of the rules Peter: www.citynoise.org/article/231
is that it? elaine: hasslehoff, you have a slightly revolting imagination. i have noticed this about you before. never ask a woman: her age?? Peter: Jamie- I'll make some of the most decay-filled urban shots for you this week if you'll make some of the most rural ones of lincolnshire! id love to see that shit. i mean, you see it every day, so its no big deal, but me... i have no clue what... elaine: i am fond of it all. that is part of why i live here. some part of me thinks i should be a grown up and try to be more middle class, but most of me can't even finish that sentence. i have always been attracted to the postapocalyptic vision... hasslehoff: dig it out of te site that is. not my head. hasslehoff: i am also interested. i am stuck in rural lincolnshire for the forseeable future and dearly miss urban decay and random violence and vandalism. Peter: eh, i find urban decay fascinating... especially stuff from europe. hasslehoff: also: this is an eerie dopelganger of a photo of toronto from hool posted somehwhere on this iste. i can see it in my head but i cant find it. 10 bonus points for the first person to dig it out. elaine: nice! i've photographed canary wharf loads of times, but never got anything like that kind of look going, it's kind of retrofuturist hasslehoff: wow, this has a certain ethereal quality to it. And liking seeing more photos from east london to complement elaine's ones. elaine: it might only be you who is interested in this, though peter. it's not exactly creative in itself, although it makes qute a good subject for a photo shoot. what i wish i had done was made the 2 contextualising photos, the top and bottom ones smaller, and separated them... Peter: www.s-h-systems.co.uk/tourism/london/map.html is a good site for those of us unfamilar with the postcode-sorted districts of london.
i think burnt cars are the enw graf trux, heh... we certainly have enough psoted here. im going to try to ferret some out in brooklyn this weekend. wil lreturn with photos! hasslehoff: Burnt Cars. The new Graf Trux? elaine: sorry, very remiss, not like me, you will like this, it's St Peter's Close E2 elaine: by the way, i know someone whose father was a spy Peter: elaine: i hope you take photos of every car you see like this- i see quite a pictorial story forming!
also: what part of london is this all happening in? elaine: i have become more futurama identified lately due to the insistant dvd playing of my brother at xmas, and because of a terrible thing they did to the simpsons.yes, i have stopped watching it becase they moved it from bbc to channel 4 which means there is not only adverts... elaine: jamie, at least your story is probably not poisining you! being selfish as i am, there is a huge part of me that could not give a toss about any of this, but you would not believe the stink that comes in, and it's buggered up my culinary herbs in... Peter: ahh yes, the grabber claw:
Jamie: heh, weird i'm in the middle of writing a story about the very subject of dealing with scrap cars. it's more interesting than i make it sound. elaine: yes, so my council tax that i pay, personally and so on, this pays for the fire engine and all the handsome men, so that is not so bad i suppose, some payoff, and then the next day a truck with a grabber comes to get. no police, by the... elaine: well done, that researcher! well our little visitor seems to have fitted fairly nicely into the MO - late at night your time, lateish here, and certainly not a hot time on citynoise, i happened to look because i had the site up having posted the lovely car for you,... Peter: totally! Peter: oh, i get it... heh. so do they just leave the burned out shells for the city to remove? elaine: no! no, say you want to get rid of your old heap, you would now have to pay to have it scrapped, i think it cost me a couple of hundred quid last time. if you are 'well connected' you pay your local dodgey villain something, he torches it, and... Peter: woah. i mean, why does he do it, if he doesnt benefit? just so he can burn cars for vandalism and know that the person will still have their car paid for by insurance? weeeeeird.
though similar things happen here, heh. for example, here and here (which are of the... she-snailie_@_v: _@_v - son of a bitch! i knew i shoulda went with the factory replacement but noooo i had to go and get a cheap modified ford crown victoria gas tank from offa ebay... elaine: as if by magic elaine: well, this just came out of our hijacking of hool's lovely posting of back of a building which we started off playing nice, then degenerated into me showing and telling about the local torch artist.
you have to go back to the inception of a form of gambling called 'car... Peter: the express here in nyc looks very similar. post-postmodern glassy curtain walls. consumerist architecture at its blandest. Mahir: I like the colors in the fishy picture. They are so vibrant, you must be have a very good camera equipment to take such vivid photographs. I like the feel of your photography very much here. DJ Over Enthusiastic Sub Contractor: Word, If i had a Kronan i'd ride my ass aroun'

Peter: elaine! the NUMBER STATIONS!!! like home.freeuk.com/spook007/ or www.dxing.com/numbers.htm ? oh wow, that stuff fascinates me. tell me more about em! Peter: its teh same here. it takes several warm days in a row before people are willing to remove their scarves and hats and gloves... yay spring! its been coming here too lately... warming up but days full of spring rain, also. Peter: heh. car-burn critics! elaine: you should snag the plate from the front of that car. id love to have a uk license tag...
whats teh story here? does someone burn cars alot in your neighborhood? Peter: heh, i was thinking bender too... nice. yay robots! Peter: yay... ive really been enjoying your entries lately... hasslehoff: Hey, if the sun is out then its summer as far as i'm concerened. Its interesting to note how the national mood shifts so radically with the seasons. elaine: i know. i've become a bit of a connoisseur, lately, and while i am enjoying the depth of the burn i am all of a tut tut at the MO elaine: damn right BST is the full six months as far as i am concerned hasslehoff: this is a full-burn, though a highly unprofessional one i must say. Jamie: Technically its only spring.. but this is Britain, you gotta be optimistic and grab it while it lasts. So it's summer yay! elaine: yeh, he's my real boyfriend hasslehoff: ha, looks like bender from futurama! elaine: i like the pink things. summer came not a minute too soon in my opinion. elaine: you are on a roll. many good works, full speech. ra elaine: well, exactly. mind you, i would never have got a job as a code breaker, i still think the shipping forecast is really just a beautiful poem, and have a hard time thinking it is a proper weather forecast saving lives of fishermen Jamie: Purplemonkeydishwasher elaine: okay, so that might have been cheating in oh so many ways, not least i didn't find it, i was sent it, but check this out, that i found on Peter's 'Bridges of New York City' - it looks like something we used to hear late at night on the... Shady Girl: I'm a sixteen year old mexican that has lived all her life in Humbolt Park. I've seen and lived the violence of gangs and all that crap, but not everything in Humbolt Park is violence. Cesa, Esie and no idea on the last 1 Helps: ITS DYSLO OF KA!!!!!!!! hannah: woah! i just went to canada on spring break. during a morning of shopping on queen street, i commented to my friend how cool those were and how they were everywhere. thats pretty nifty to know what it really is! Peter: paul g, there are no aliases here, save for the "editors" name that jamie and i both use for editorial/tutorial comments, just for the purpose of simplicity and implied (but still anonymous) authority on this login-less site where we try to keep hierarchy and competition to a minimum (thus the...
