Previous Day :: Next DayEvilGentleman: I suppose it is possible that the processed ham and bologna that the rabbit preferred may have had some non-animal product mixed in with it, but he was definitely eating meat. Although his usual favourite food was lettuce, and he hated carrots. But oddly, I remember the cats also would... EvilGentleman: The first letters of Canadian postal codes denote the province or territory (or portion thereof) that the address is within, much like North American telephone area codes. The codes are:
A - Newfoundland and Labrador
B - Nova Scotia
C - Prince Edward Island
D - not assigned
E - New Brunswick
F - not assigned
G... Elicar: Is that your pedantic self talking again, jack? aladra: I loved, loved ,loved this story, although it is hard to believe your rabbit's "carnivouros tendencies". Great!!! Peter: ...and i live in brooklyn again, and seeing it with 2006 eyes, it looks so much different than when i originally wrote this.
...yet rereading it still gives me goosebumps. urbanghost: i was just wondering why there seems to be a lot discussion regarding my pics of a young black kid getting roughed up/arrested, and no one seems to mind about the old white man. just wondering. EvilGentleman: Hey man, thanks. Just wait till I'm jack's age... only 27 more years to go... EvilGentleman: Thanks, Peter. I was wondering about that arch for a while. Now I can remember better. That was as I was about to cross the Manhattan Bridge into Brooklyn, then. Peter: ahh, eg, youve got some great stories! EvilGentleman: I remember during my 1999 tour of America: The Eastern 30, we stopped at a supermarket somewhere NW of Lafayette to get some munchies to keep the family going while on the road to the next stop, Shreveport. On the way out, there was a display rack of 10-oz bottles... hool: thanks tamara. i'm not showing during Contact this year, though i have in previous years. i just closed a three day weekend show at the gladstone. in fact, i shot that fourth photo just outside the gladstone, when i was taking down my pieces to the car. Peter: nice photos! i found some more on flickr, too:
www.flickr.com/photos/36029594@N00/with/139209351/ jack: true. but many immigrants came to this country and they all worked and pooled their money into the family by buying property and other needs. every family had a savings bank. granted today is different than yesterday but the actions are all the same. today its... Tamara: hool ~ I love the forth shot! the shadow his hands are making are bird like, simply magic! Just wondering are you showing during Contact? I'd love to see more stuff.
jack: you know i think that was once the red garter saloon. hey peter i'm a going to lala land. first las vegas then ca. i'll be down in san diego somewhere. i'm taking my camera and i'll make joey very jealous of the photos when i... jack: his mother-in-law must live downstairs. concrete jello: i just saw Toronto Santa getting arrested at the intersection of Bloor and Dundas St. w.!!!
he was in the middle of the street yelling "fuck cops", and stopping traffic, and then two cops ran up and tackled him. he was screaming, and yelling out his email address... what a... jack: i think you guys got some paint and painted the sky yourselves. but how did you get all the way up there? jack: nice pic peter. i had friends on bergen street years ago. got into a bad fight down that-a-way in an old saloon called the red garter. my buddy broke this guys leg and his friends came gunning for us. crazy days. Mat-E: I think this question touches on a fundamental human reality; you can never create a policy which will satisfy a largely civil, responsible majority and at the same time satisfy a minority of total idiots (i.e. drunk drivers - sorry to be so judgemental, but if you drive... Peter: I live in Fergus and although wasn't there at the exact time of the tornado I seen the damage and helped in the clean-up that is still going on til this day. there are still houses without roofs and forest lay in ruins, I do however agree with Jeeff that... kate k : yea well. some people love it and others hate it. i ve been threw alot of shit. and i have always been between it.. but it fucks lyfe up and even the ones u love anonymous:

Peter: indeed!
Jamie: the englishes, you mean Peter: thats the arch on canal street, which leads right into the manhattan bridge. its on the manhattan side, headed towards brooklyn. interestingly, the construction you can see in your photo is still going on there, more than 5 years later!
an interesting post about hte manhattan bridge is here. Jamie: this photo would look really good as a framed print GGP: go Bergen Street, land of the big sky! EvilGentleman: What is is about New York and arches? Can you tell me which this is? I've always wondered...
(taken from my Pre-9/11 post) EvilGentleman: Jamie, if you ever try to push a shopping cart (trolley) here or walk on a sidewalk, it becomes obvious that the word "yield" (or "cedez" in the archaic dialect of French spoken hereabouts) is vitually unknown here. And since Quebec has a negative rate of natural increase that is... Peter: theres some pretty crazy traffic circle action around the arch in grand army plaza in brooklyn... navigating it on a bicycle is a feat that takes years of practice! Dogma: Proving ...a bad day at the beach is always better than a good day at the office. theavs: sane has been a huge influence on me as a writer, Ive read over and over the story of sanesmith in the art of getting over

Jamie: EvG: "yielding and merging are skills that are rarely practiced over here"
do you mean whilst driving or in general? ;-) EvilGentleman: The recently unveiled plans for changes to the highway system around Dorval include the removal of the Dorval Circle, as well as the installation of sound barriers along the side of the major highway in front of my house.
As a point of note, it should be mentioned that North American... indykid: An interesting thing about this photos for me is the road sign up ahead. I think here in Europe it's a common misconception that there are no roundabouts in North America. I know that this isn't true, and that over there they get called traffic circles (I've seen that in... dave: Hey, how big is that throw-up on the bridge? EvilGentleman: Oh, and Sherri... you mentioned the story about the black boy getting his faced smashed after he allegedly grabbed the cop by the balls. Here is how the law works, since you seem so intent on seeing it enforced. If the boy grabbed the cop by the balls, that is... EvilGentleman: Whoa, good article. Kudos to the Tallahassee CBS crew for that one.
You should have seen the some of the things I have seen, like a terrifying high-speed chase with the Surete du Quebec (formerly the Quebec Provincial Police) in 1990 where they continually tried to ram me off the road... the hunter: hey current hunter students, scan in those old yearbook pix and put them up here! And two words for you: prop room. holy shit. EvilGentleman: Hmmm, chiamatt's question brings up some valid points. My instinctive response would be to say that providing parking at establishments that serve alcohol is inviting people to drink and drive, and therefore should not be permitted. Having said that, however, I must also point out that many, if not most... barry:
hool: i did ask for the first shot. he didn't mind and just continued his painting. i asked in that instance because i wanted to get close and have a look at his work in progress. hool: myke: i rarely ask. i'm not really interested in photographing people's reaction to being photographed. ninety9lives: MY GOD THAT WAS NIFTY.
