Previous Day :: Next DayCatherine Penfold-Waxman: He's watching her back.
Unless the teddy is a female too, then;
She's watching her back.
I think that about covers it. (No Teddy is an 'It.') sonofabitch: ja is the king and cope 2 is good but ja got more props than anyone sonofabitch: RIP sane a true nyc legend....u cant really know what where talking about unless u expierence it. like all the peeps that live in nyc chiamattt: nice shots, dude. BC chiamattt: If you think a poster advertising beer at a gas station is bad...do you also think it is bad that restaurants and bars that sell alcoholic beverages have parking lots? Grange: and when i get them , if their alive ,and i ask them how much they have had to drink , they almost always say " 1 or 2 beers". and they cant even walk ...
if i had a case of what ever beer they were drinking ,my... more than a few?: cbs4.com/topstories/local_story_033170755.html Peter: sherri: you mean sort of like you put in your two-cents without giving any credence to the very real dangers to which the heavy-handed/overly-aggressive elements of law enforcement subject random citizens?
or even better yet, the dangers that any minority faces at the hands of law enforcement who have displayed a... sherri: Anyone remeber this:...
Anyone remeber the big uproar in the states when some bystander filmed a young black man getting arrested? The police had been "rough" when arresting him and bounced the black boys face off the hood of the car a few times. The public cried outrage only to find... sherri: And my fiancee is VERY decent. It's a shame that a few bad apples spoil the whole bunch in some respects. sherri: Hey EvilGentleman, yes, I AM a PETA supporter. There should be more people like me. The more people I meet, the more I like my 4 spca dogs and 2 cats! Cameo: *hic* no... nothing wrong. Screettttchh!
*smash* Michelle: Thanks! colavito's ghost: Jack, if you believe "hard work" inevitably leads to one's achieving whatever it is you conceive of as "the american dream," you are clearly not living in the same America as me.
Some people do succeed because of hard work. Others work just as hard and end up... colavito's ghost: nice misfits reference colavito's ghost: don't drive Peter:
EvilGentleman: Actually, the driver is a woman. They seem to be a couple touring together. But when we saw this in front of us, it was lucky that Arcticwoman was able to grab my camera and take a shot while we were moving, especially since this road is a lot bumpier... EvilGentleman: Nice set. I especially liked shots 1, 2 and 4.
For shot 1, you seem to be making an art of shooting art on the street. You either have incredible luck finding canvas art wandering around Toronto, or you really know where to go to find it. Shots 2 and 4... CHELSEA: I THINK THOSE ARE PRETTY PICTURES ON YOUR WEBSITE Catherine Penfold-Waxman: He's watching his back. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Don't drink and drive
Catherine Penfold-Waxman: You see, smoking kills. jack: pic 1- now where did elaine put the green paint?
pic 2- oh gee! did i put my dress on backwards?
pic 3- right over my foot you drove, where is there a police officer when you need one.
pic 4- no, no more on my knees for you. don't you get... jack: of course their not crinimals, they should find a way to become legit and then ask for the same wages as any other anerican, and they should report these bastard employees who take advantage of them. and they should not complain when society does'nt give them a free handout. Myke: I like this set. I'm curious, do you ever ask people if they don't mind being photographed? Karl: I am an artist, not an artiste.
Beautify that which needs beautification - not the beautificator. elaine: we love our kitties and dawgs in this country. is greyfriar's bobby the most celebrated, i wonder? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greyfriar's_Bobby
elaine: the kind of happy people look before a fatal car crash, maybe? elaine: pandy's seen a lot... elaine: london has the odd skyline to offer, but i don't have that kind of photo to share. i'll tell you one place that has a groovy skyline if you get it right, is edinburgh. i have no edinburgh photos, but i think one of the exciting things visually is the... Michelle: Yup - always "the beaches" - the 'beaches jazz festival'... just won't sound the same any other way. Nice pictures. The grass sure is green! nowyoucee: nice nice .. the first 1 is ''cs'' the 2nd is ''bran'' and the 3rd is a ''t'' for ''trap'' nowyoucee: i was waiting for this guy to get a hold of etch .. it was like zoooom EvilGentleman: It seems quite variable. Old buildings, new car dealerships, old 1960's malls, new malls, new apartment blocks, old wood-frame townhouses. It seemed like a decent enough place, but I was only there for 15 minutes at night. My wife and I just felt like going for a cruise in the... Chris Erb: Is it very much like this? If so, I imagine it's a very interesting and historic place. Chris Erb: And what is it with people and showing their love for their city by funneling it through their local sports team. I'm sure that almost all of the players for the Toronto Raptors arn't Torontonians and the tem is probably owned by Americans or Chinese businessmen. EvilGentleman: Just north of the northern tip of Montreal Island, on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River. EvilGentleman: Somewhat like the place they left, minus the malls. Chris Erb: I really like the gables on this house and the positioning of the bottom two windows. Where is Repentigny? Chris Erb: This is a wonderful post. Thank you very much.
I'd love to see the same thing done with Canada. maybe if I get some extra time I'll do one up. I have some ideas for what I would put in already. Canada has some very nice skylines,... Chris Erb: But he looks oh so happy to have them. Chris Erb: I looked it up on Google Earth. It's actually quite an awful place. It's a long stretch of highway with what appears to be huge malls, parking lots, warehouses and large plots of empty land. EvilGentleman: The translation is something like this:
There's a game on?
There's beer (here).
There's your brand (here).
The man in the poster is holding a 6-pack of Labatt Blue and a 6-pack of Molson Export. nowyoucee: i thought that was rootbeer cans nowyoucee: damn i need to make 1 of those signs EvilGentleman: Irony of ironies. So I guess some Torontonians are infuriated that he did not automatically make Toronto #1? And Vancouver and San Diego and... ahhh, forget it. I love no city more than I love Montreal, but I am not concerned that it has not once been mentioned here, I... nowyoucee: mmm interesting EvilGentleman: Oh, and sally 5548: Since when did expressing one's opinion in a balanced manner become hate? As Elicar pointed out above, Einstein himself was called a slow learner, yet he went on to become synonymous with the word genius. He did not freak out when faced with less than perfect... vee: love the fence picture Elicar: He's Canadian, from Toronto actually. His phone number is a 416 area code. He sometimes works for his father in Aurora. EvilGentleman: Nice. That explains a lot. EvilGentleman: Why does everyone want to think only of their own cities? If you notice, the author appears to be an Italian, and yet no Italian cities made his list, not even the honourable mentions. If fact the only European city to make the list is Frankfurt, at #13. It seems... Elicar: This is my camera. www.aaaelectronicssearch.com/Ele . . . om/Electronics/B0002R282O. The staff at Henry's recommended this over Canon because of the leica lens. EvilGentleman: Good grief, I said you were on the right track, and that you had potential. Plaese read the whole thing before you overreact. And as far as the speaker thing goes, I was just telling you what the elder told me when I was 14. They were basically wondering why... EvilGentleman: Still better than what I could have done with my camera. Good shots. sally 5548: evilg. why r u hating on kids who r like 13-14? nd so ya wat. there kids. they use language like this, even if there smart or not. nd i think there invention is pretty cool. its like a 2 in 1 kinda thing. love it! savyravii: heyy i luv dat eSix invention. think its pretty rad. esix group member: sry evilg. i dont no who wrote that but its true. u cant always find a a speaker around nd anyways ppl today r using mp3's more than cd's so they use more earphones than speakers. nd if u say oh well u can hook up an mp3 to an... Elicar:
Here EvilG. This was taken a month ago, but it should give you an orientation of the shoreline. I was taking pictures from the right of this picture. EvilGentleman: Good lens No name: Toronto is the nicest and most technologiacally advznced city anywhere!!! Elicar: Nope, from the beach! J: Ummmm .... that would be "DUH"
Stupid keyboard. J: It's a beautiful part of the City.
And it will always be "The Beaches" to me.
I really don't get all the drama surrounding the naming of it.
Suh. EvilGentleman: Where did you shoot these from? A boat? EvilGentleman: I guess we don't know jack ;-) Previous Day :: Next Day |
