Previous Day :: Next DayJamie: kill them. with a knife. chris: you all need to relax. stop being so old and chill. its fun stuff, they obviously know the dangers. Condo nuisance: Wow... great testimonials! I say, get rid of them any way possible - before they take over. Having an open garbage dumpster at these condos doesn't help. They eat then live in our our garage storage cabinets. I'll start with ammonia. If that doesn't work, I'll move! chiamattt: Thanks dude. I appreciate the feedback! So far, Seoul has produced some wonderful walking this spring...though I am quite sure i'll be snapping less during the rainy season and the brutally hot/humid summer months. Boourns. colavitos ghost: i love the post.
but is it just me or is that graf pretty wack? Jamie: Jesus died for me? Should I thank him? I like her tshirt almost as much as i like the but man tshirt in your previous post. There are so many positive things to say about each of these photos I don't know where to start. Dirty Panda? Yay. Random red... Jamie: LULZ. Bittermuch? I particularly like how $tay->single is perfectly valid PHP syntax for calling the public method 'single' of an object called 'tay'. john: wow...smart people chiamattt: In all honesty, I didn't notice 'butman' until I looked through the pics at home. It was quite a surprise! chiamattt: Thanks dude anon (CPE001731affc09-CM0017ee54e572.cpe.net.cable.rogers.com): yeah, hurting others while enjoying a pretty lite show....NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THAT CJ: My moms is trippin about this school. And my freind was about to go here but he like basketball so he goin to james madison. But i still wanna go. Peter: interesting... there are (have been) three warships named uss midway
this one seems to be the USS Midway (CV-41).
nice photos, jack. reminds me of the intrepid...
Sal S. May 19 2008: Joe,
Nice work. Good to see your work after too many years. Give me a call if you are ever back in Chicago - sal Peter: looks like its set to return to manhattan's west side this fall (~september 2008)... Peter: hahaha, i always love random one-off things like this that people manage to capture and share... though the shouting at women isnt all that classy. also: i like his logic: $tay-> single! stay happy. BUY ART WORK! Peter: hmm, i guess i got thrown by the part where you said "I know that cant be a Coupe piece in BK. no one ever said he was from brooklyn. this is a relatively famous spot, and there are writers up there from around the world... anyway... anon (74-128-38-7.dhcp.insightbb.com): ^^yes i realize that. My point was being that Coupe is a Midwest writer. Its not common to see that in BK unless its on a fr8. Let alone someone to post it. His shit is mostly in Ohio and Kentucky. Peter: yes... did you notice where it says "louisville, ky... 2002" directly above the coupe piece? i suppose even graf writers go out of town from time to time, you know? anon (74-128-38-7.dhcp.insightbb.com): Coupe is from Louisville not Brooklyn. I know that cant be a Coupe piece in BK. Jamie: Is this mural new? It's very clean and tidy Jamie: ah, the benefits of shooting raw. I've somehow missed this "Compilation" series somehow. I really like the photos you've been posting lately, they're both technically accomplished and inspiring. Good work chap. Peter: thats a great mosaic mural... never seen one like that before!
what a sad story, though... was it this louis ramirez?
www.deathrow-usa.us/luis_ramirez.htm
Luis Ramirez Jamie: Mural schemes suck more often than not, but most of these are pretty good. Nice photos. Thanks for sharing them
@Picky Lurker: I wouldn't like to speculate on any "view fixing". Sometimes posts can accrue lots of views without collecting many comments. This most often happens when something randomly scores highly... ^_^: That's definitely one way to get around copyright infringement issues! Jamie: photo-of-the day! Disgusted!: I live in an apartment building on the third floor and a raccoon (or raccoons) have been using my balcony as their latrine. When I cleaned it up, I used a tarp, gloves and industrial garbage bags to throw it away. I cleaned off the balcony, and this... Peter: hahahaha! i didnt even notice "but man" the first time around... CE: hahahaha @ "But Man" CE: I miss having my camera with me at all times. It broke a couple weeks ago and is still in the shop and I might not be able to afford getting it fixed. I hate not having it because spring is my favourite time for picture taking! Peter: not one but two NY shirts, heh... the shot with the frayed wire is cool... there are a few stainless steel fences like the one in that shot in my neighborhood... one of them is shiny enough to take a reflected self-portrait in the mirror-like round finials on top... which... EMILY: CLEANER NEW YORK: 27th Feb 2008 - 02:35 GMT
THIS SPRAY PAINT DOES NOT MAKE FOR A CLEANER NEW YORK. PLEASE USE DRAWING PAPER NEXT TIME
Peter: 27th Feb 2008 - 04:56 GMT
i tried that; the spraypaint bleeds through the drawing paper pretty badly.
fonem: 23rd Mar 2008 - 18:37 GMT
yeah, make everything... Peter: that reminds me of cotto salami for some reason... nice airplane wing in the last shot, too. and those palm trees make me think of summer... EMILY: leftttttt EMILY: yeah greenpoint is shit but that's where i live lol EMILY: i saw another one something like this in a pier in greenpoint, brooklyn... it looked pretty old but idk Jamie: i'm not keen on mushrooms, but these are really nice photos. A real slice of life and very well executed too. i can has more plz? Jamie: I think I need bigger pockets. chiamattt: oh. the mushrooms were awesome. It's a crying shame they only gave us two. Jamie: somehow, the phrase "fish grotto" doesn't sit well with me (or my stomach) Jamie: Nice shots. That last one oddly enough, looks like it could be an aerial view of anywhere in the UK Tom: Hairsy and Mike(Violas Grandson) Hi Hairsy I know you will remember me but Mike will not, but Mike might remember my Grandparents last name(SHAW)since we live across the street from Violas on Cambria St. between Hope & Front till the mid 70's. Hairsy I will always remember the... Josselyn K: I really love this mural it looks beautiful when kids get involved in these master pieces. Natalie Waterworth (Brophy): Absolutely disgusting !!!! they are washing our heritage down the drain with all the brickdust !!! Natalie Waterworth (Brophy): To Julian Austin Seal, did you have a relative called Leonard Seal who lived in a row of Terraces just up from Culshaws??? If so, he was a very good friend of my family and i would love to hear from you. Mike In Alberta: Too funny..
I grew up in N.D.G. and hung out at Terrebonne Park in the late 70's. Remember it all well. The Discords...lol. Oh man!! There was no gang when I think back. We all thought we were bad but really just a bunch of insecure kids... Norma Bannon (nee Bolton): It was Mal Kitt who got us onto this site in the first place...
As for Morris's pies, we often talk about them and chinky lee's curry; rice and chips. sam ross: jon burgess any relation to myra and les burgess Lesley: hi there all ....well i came across ur site by accident as i have been looking for a long lost friend.
