Previous Day :: Next DayPeter: a friend gave me a digital camera this past winter; ive discovered that i (rather absentmindedly) have been carrying it around with me almost everywhere i go here in nyc; there are just so many photo-worthy things that, although perhaps not worthy of the time and cost of analog photography-... kimba: Yeah .. this is sort of under the Cliff House I guess. - and yeah there were lots of empty beer bottles ;) DaNNy bAk3rL1tE: This is where my GOD lives... karma: i really wish i had a digital camera. karma: that third picture is freaky. but alas, we have to represent the anthropological side of all thigns urban, yes? i think this is like the first photo on here thats strictly of a person.
i like it, somehow. Jamie: Digital? Wow, that must be some expensive-ass camera u got there buddy. karma: i love how this site is slowly but surely becoming a repository of alot of graffiti shots. thats agood thing.
citynoise indeed. what could be more of a fetish for urban/art lovers than graffiti?! karma: yes! good! i love how your prints are in black and white. you dont see much of that these days, especially online. you use it so creatively, too. kudos, my man. karma: its all about the pwoers that be going on a power trip. they think graffiti is subversive, possibly. they see it as a sector where they are losing power over their soverign domain.
im not saying anyone should rebel, or spouting antigovernment sentiments, for sure... but for real... like you said-... Jamie: Dudes i LOVE all this Graff shit. These pics especially are AWEs0me! P4r4B01D LyR1c15T: Now, i would ask the authorities responsible for this:
What looks better?
Honestly... Jamie: yeah this is good let's see more Jamie: I love these photos! The contrast in them is nothing short of amazing and the subject matter is awesome also. Peter: Hool, your stuff is consistently great; thanks for sharing it. keep it up... hool: i am not any part of graf culture, but i completely agree with you on the virtue of recognition.
