Previous Day :: Next Dayw--ill: those pictures are awesome by the way EvilGentleman: Oh, Google Earth, I am pretty familiar with, but I cannot make links unless I sign in and add placemarks, and some of my placemarks, I would rather illustrate an area, and not a specific point. With Google Maps, I can add a link to a specific view, and I... Klyph: What was formerly said of Oakland, CA, is also true of Jacksonville: There's no "there" there. On the other hand, J'ville boasts 46% adult illiteracy, 33% high school drop-out rate, and the most murders per capita of any Florida city, and a high school named in honor of the... gesls: I work in the Gherkin, and it is not as great as you all think, day in day out it gets tiresome david kean: does anyone have any pictures of lambhill st from the 50s and 60s? Marianne: I AM from Norway, and we do NOT eat pølsa(hotdogs) so mush.. or, i dot not eat it so mush!! Brad: At least you were repelled and not frozen in place like those who almost made it through :) Instorenow: i find spray adhesive only works on metal surfaces for me anyway. I've tryed brick walls but nothing happens, how did u make it work? Instorenow: bank paper is a 45gsm light wieght shit! its like the butchers paper i think! Marc: Anybody who comes to Montreal during the summer HAS to go see the Tam-Tams! I've had some of the best times of my life there! anon (cpe-24-164-168-73.hvc.res.rr.com): thinking of moving in at halsey and broadway... seems almost nicer than the myrtle/broadway area, despite its being farther east. does bushwick/bed stuy sort of chill out between the marcy projects and east ny? what gives? CE: From my hometown of Sussex New Brunswick from this post. The street is actually called Broad Street but is often referred to as "Broadway" and even has some business that use that name such as the Broadway Cafe and the now out of business Broadway Cycle and Ski.
Joseph Nash: Scott,
I love the fact that you highlighted only one small piece of the town. As Nicole mentioned there are many other fascinating things to be seen and talked about in Bessie. I grew up here before entering college, and this town is great. These three pictures represent very little about... broken:

I lived in this town for most of my life. In fact the poeople there are wonderful. This is not the most interesting building, in fact it is the most boring building. You could go to my old house (the largest house in town) or the gym, or even the... EvilGentleman: Lemme see... these images were shot in the parking lot for the trail to the 60-foot waterfalls (they were dry in 1999)... so... the location should be... Dark Hollow Falls parking lot!

The official Shenandoah National Park website: www.nps.gov/shen/ pat: toronto has over 200 highrise proposals/coonstruction/approved..etc 33 500footers fgoin up in the near future, EvilGentleman: No point posting a map link for this one. If you don't know where New York City is, you probably can't read maps anyways. upfromflames: Great idea...best thing is to get a good feel for google earth--how things look on those display panels--then see what works best for you...but I think that the monthly thing may well make sense. I look forward to whatever you will send us, oh yee of well worn odometer! ... EvilGentleman: Ooops, that was a mistake... Oh well, just go to the linked post and click the Google Maps link in the comments. EvilGentleman: www.citynoise.org/article/3180/by/evilgentleman
The same link as last post, damned if I can recall which scenic lookout I filmed this at. EvilGentleman: I just saw that feature for the first time last night. I'm still figuring out how to use it and post it. Once I do, I may very well do that, but it would be sooooo cluttered, and would need constant updates as well. Maybe if I just make a... EvilGentleman: maps.google.ca/maps?ie=UTF8&oe=U . . . 0.032603,0.05785&t=k&z=14 carlos: Motorbikes emit less carbon dioxide than cars on average but more nitrogen oxides and much more hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide pollution. A 1997 124cc Piaggio Vespa emits 36 times more CO per kilometre than the average car, 141 times more HC and 1.7 times more NOx, but 6.3 times less... upfromflames: EG: If you can make yourself a KMZ file, we can see all your google map marks on one map!
I'd really like that, since you have so many listings... In the interests of not fanning the flames of debate once again, I will opt to not do so with this article. Well, maybe just a shot of Ville Saint-Laurent, that should be innocent... EvilGentleman: Best I could do in this case is to post a map of the eastern USA.

You can see here how the landfill is wedged between a chemical plant and a shopping mall. Location, location, location. I just realized, you can actually see the hovercraft in this satellite photo! I dunno how long this version will stay online, but it is the yellow dot at the center of the photo. I think the satellite photo was taken in 2003. EvilGentleman: maps.google.ca/maps?ie=UTF8&oe=U . . . pn=0.001833,0.003616&z=18 EvilGentleman: My 'hood in Kahnawake, where the hornet's nest came from. Jeff's house is in the photo, but in the interests of his privacy, I will not specify which one.
