Catherine Penfold-Waxman: This is still one of my favorite shots on CityNoise. jack: never read it. but now i have to. jack: we can start it by describing the partially opened garage door to the mind of the building. if buildings could talk and streets yearn for the soft rays of the sun, then think of the garbage strewn about the properties. the empty lot being filled with peoples junk,... jack: big name for a little guy

Mighty good job you're doing here! GGP: peter, you have been getting some nice shots of sunset on brick lately--real nice. GGP: elaine's link lead me to the phrase "ensemble pathos": a term coined by Francis Ferguson to describe playwriting style that focuses not on the plight of a single individual but on a group of people; the audience's emotional response is therefore dispersed among the group. The plays of Chekhov epitomize... Robert: Peter, thanks once more for bringing old memories back. Went there for a couple of weeks at the end of the 1958 course. I had just moved to the neighbourhood from Boro Park but I haven't seen the place again. pip + bubs: banksy is our idol he is the man he is very creative and innovative he is the fucking don of the street spygirl_t: Jack, you've been reading The Handmaid's Tale, I see. But it is a high likelyhood that you are on the right track. We just look at the airports these days and the new iris scanning system they've been putting in place. Peter: yeah, this is a great entry, david. feel free to share your pictures anytime... this is perfect citynoise fodder... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: what did you hear, Jack! oooooh the suspense is killing me. Biff: In Toronto, a New York pizza means a thin crust, Chicago is thick and a Torontonese is in between. Although I'm not sure I'd like the asphalt of NYC in the summer, living within walking distance to a beach (edgewater park) is awesome in the summer. Also, in Cleveland, the only time (with the exception of sporting events) during winter that... Jamie: are the big white borders intentional? Jim: I love all the anti NY sentiment by philadelphians here(Stubborn!). Pride in where you grew up is great but to knock a place in philly because they reference or came from another town is just stupid. Its kind of widely known that asside from Italy, NY is next best... Biff: This lot is only 16 feet wide. Peter: i love the heat, too. its the humidity along with it that i hate. if it were up to me, id just live in a desert. i thought conditions at burningman were great- sweltering heat, but no humidity. 115+ degrees and you never sweated... i like that just fine, especially... l@L@: tHiS sh!tS...Sick.....nice anon (crty01m01-43.bctel.ca): what about the phosphorous bombs he endorses in Afghanistan. Don: The pics are really wicked (=great for uninitiated). I would love to see this place live and direct! jack: eventually people born will have micro chips placed in their bodies. all people with tatoos will have a problem with the ink in the dye creeping into their blood stream which will be causing cancer cells to pop up. so the micro chips will be color coded and... jack: it is exciting to sneak into a place like that. in brooklyn there was a house on the corner of west 4th street and kings highway that was owned by two old x-firemen and eventually closed up. as kids we would sneak into the place and roam around... jack: nope, your all wrong. these two are working together. they are in sales and are preparing for an appointment. both are in business attire and she has her day timer in front of her. they are not on a date, its early morning, note orange juice.... probshwk: North bushwick near flushing is going to be an up and coming area soon buy now Elicar: I am always at the BCE, Gabi! Jamie: heh peter, sounds much like irish chinese take-aways. or at least the ones where i used to live in northern ireland whos mainstay are chips, french fried onions and curry fried rice which is a container of fried rice topped with a layer of thick chip shop style 'curry' sauce.... elaine: exciting. i love all that. elaine: sometimes it's more friendly to be alone elaine: maybe my tree went there? C: Just for the record, branding is one of the more hygenic procedures. The heat kills everything off. elaine: actually, evilgentleman, this park was the first public park EVAR that wasn't a royal park. it was devised, in what was a totally radical way at the time as a 'people's park'. super duper, is my view. i love viccy park. but by the prepondency of hearts carved into it's... elaine: the PATHOS! the PATHOS! www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&sa . . . When I lived in Ireland I was suprised at how lanterns were standard lighting in my apartment. They were white, though, not colored. I thought they were such a nicer option than bulbous lighting fixtures. Laura : very cool. I like the vibe of the scanned film pix. joey: what about no. 3. now that's immortal. drea: the project for the first one was called Light and Motion (we were playing with aperture).
the project for the second one was called Still Life.
Chinese lanterns are so cool! drea: 39. People who don't signal. Elicar: Anthing is possible. Your suggestion is sound, however, where would I get an endless free supply of cardboard boxes? Plus, a box of 80 clear blue bags cost $8.00. Just add $2.00 so theplastic box is still more practical.

www.hasslefreeclinic.org
(nice url) jeeff: for me, extreme heat is more social. i can go to the beach, go to a pool, to an air-conditioned mall, drink a cold beer, etc. to cool off. these things are generally fun. but extreme cold is anti-social because it's painful and i just want to... S: Is it possible these bins are being blown down the road by the wind?. Why waste the money buying new recycling boxes. Just use a cardboard box or put the stuff in clear plastic bags. S: That's because we have lots of litter bugs in this city. torontofreelance: Sadly, the driver died. He hit a slow moving transport at 100 miles per hour. The truck was doing about 20. cristina: oh my god i love storms but those would even make me run. Very cool Biff: It looks like they are married... Previous Day :: Next Day |
