Previous Day :: Next DayEric: Man this is some asome SHIT as a writer myself these guys got STYLE!!!!! GGP: this doesn't even look real, it's so real. GGP: this reminds me of Cherry Grove, Fire Island. lots of stuff like this in the front yards there. creepy and fun. GGP: they're both pretty robotic, come to think of it. "come to mommy-robo and daddy-robo," they're saying to the little robo-pump in the lower R corner. but the little robo is scared to cross the street alone, however drab it may be be. GGP: we HATE yummy taco!! EvilGentleman: jeeff, Peter... Those are my favourite tacos of all. ;-) Peter: cat: i hate those 100+ /95%+ days... add the heat-island effect, and shizzam. its like a crematorium. elaine: shame. elaine: and we complain for a living Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Certainly is. But it is rare that it get's to 100F (38c) and 95% humidity. elaine: that's drab. even the robotbuilding looks depressed a'la: The U.K. is also an island that sticks out into the Atlantic. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I'm with you Elicar. I hate a humid summer. And living on an island that sticks out into the Atlantic makes for damp-as-a-sponge summer. (Manhattan Island and Long Island) Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I'm trying to be 50's. I like the dresses. And typefaces. Elicar: I will be complaining jeeff! I try not to complain in the winter. At least you can dress up! You can only dress down so much in the summer before you get arrested. If we will have the same summer as we did last year, I am going going to... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Ha! Jack, you got it in one. Peter: i, for one, will not be complaining about the heat... i recently bought a giant air-conditioner, super-cheap, from a downstairs neighbor who was moving out and took a $300 loss so he didnt have to carry the thing out of his apartment, heh. that and good deals are to be... jeeff: my above comment is dedicated to everyone who's going to complain about it being too hot this summer. people, think of what you're saying! jack: no kidding, it looks like my aunt zelda dancing at our new year's day party. Peter: always the informative poster, jamie is! jack: crazy man crazy, catherine that is so 50's jack: why did the man throw the clock out the window? jack: i had mine the old fashioned way, i let my wife do it. jeeff: i like how you posted this jamie. we can point to you as the new posting role model. jack: i have some great pics of the sunbathers from there. Peter: jeeff: lol... jeeff: i plan to have my children through artificial intelligence as well. jeeff: what was the project? jeeff: i could say something about prefering a certain kind of tacos here, but i won't. jeeff: aw man, i thought the heart was my tag. now i have to think of a new one. jack: actually i know that tree. originally 267 years ago there were four trees all clustered together and a terrible storm was brewing (much like this story in my head) and the trees started to worry saying, "oh my, will we be blown away from our roots, what can we... Elicar: Remind me of this...I visited San Antonio in 1991 and took the riverboat ride.
hotx.com/rb/rbtour-j/cs05snix.html jack: italian taco - take an un-cooked pizza pie in the round and place browned chopped meat (pure angus) with fried onions, peppers, and mushrooms with olive oil (extra virgin) some scrambled egg and pinoli nuts, roll up the ingrediants into the pie and bake in oven, 350 for 20 mins,... Elicar: I'd like to see the whole tree! It must be majestic! elaine: sneak!
this tree would be easier to check, being, as it is, in the middle of viccy park. location is everything, evilgengleman. i saw it from a distance with a bit of sunlight kissing it. the sunlight was gone by the time i gained the tree, but i took a LOT... EvilGentleman: I wonder if my carving on the tree at the bottom of the 60-foot waterfalls in Shenandoah NP is still visible... EvilGentleman: I much prefer Arab tacos buckwild: Thats some funny shit Peter: yay graf trees! EvilGentleman: Like, all that I know eh, is that you there Britishers sure seem to have yerselves a funny way of spicken' at each other, eh? Not 'tall like us 'nucks here who is spicken' de bestest type of English. We all knows it's da bestest, in'tit? Peter: lol jamie! check the comments on this entry. blech! yummy taco is one of zillions of "ghetto-chinese" places that are a phenomenon in brooklyn, that though they serve cheap, fast (and often low-quality) chinese take-away, do most of their business in serving chicken wings, french fries and the like. a... Jamie: hoisin tacos! Peter: i dont recall that film well enough to remember, but i did just google this...

A pup (spore?) of the Flatiron on this coast:
"The Europe Hotel
Corner of Powell and Alexander Street
Built in 1908-09 by Angelo Calori. The notable Vancouver architectural firm, Parr and Fee, designed the Europe, a 'flat-iron shaped'... Jamie: chinese-mexican? RIZA: HE HAS ALOT OF NEW STUFF UP IN QUEENS.. BQE , LIE ALL NEW SHIT ON WALLS TO...JAONE KING ! elaine: in the never ending story do they use the flatiron building or a looky likey? Peter: omg, i am cracking up... Peter: yup, exactly like the flatiron. and, based on the shape of the plot its built on, you can see why:
Peter: elaine: like the flat iron building? elaine: i WANT one elaine: look what my stalker sent me!
Catherine Penfold-Waxman: They are damn good chairs. In fact, even a 10 year old Aeron retains 70% of it's retail value. Micah: I can't get on the internet at work so I somewhat surreptitiously do things like this during my language lab instead (where I am right now). That way it's not a #complete# waste of an hour... Peter: ...or three ;) elaine: my feeling is that if you mailed ME your aeron chair you would get bought another, newer one which you could then steal for yourself. expecially if you ordered two by mistake. elaine: yeah, they got mojo. elaine: thankyouverymuch ::bows::
vaguely thought about *just* posting the first one, and then again leaving out the white, but i think i made a good decision in the end. in fact i took photos the other day but they were not as well focused as i would have liked, and ithe light... EvilGentleman: Wonderful pictures. The colours in the first one help make the shot, and the reflections in the second one are quite nice as well. If only I actually knew what I was talking about... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I was going with Jack's notion that if all people were gay, the race would die out in 100 years. Obviously, today (and in reality) people chose to have children by many means and have many different relationships. As I said, all the homosexual couples I know want kids, either... Peter: *sigh* WELSHY: Well as a Celtic reader to this US V'S UK debate I have to say put down the guns a second and consider.
Yes America did enter the war late 1941 dec after pearl harbour however the US were providing the Uk with help in the form of lend lease,... Micah: Lots of his gum paintings remind me of Hundertwasser, with all the colours and swirls and things (though no spirals); also in his intent to beautify things which might not be inherently beautiful. Fun! And such dedication! Jamie: first one is the moneyshot. would make a lovely desktop wallpaper imo Biff: Actually that's not true, there are lots of Gay parents. Some out and some not. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: wow! eye-popping color! Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Of course we'll still be here in 100 years (ignoring the probability that we'll extinct ourselves in other ways). There will still be men and women, even if they prefer their own sex for relationships, the desire to have familes will still be strong. Gay couples often want children. All... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I actually bring pens to work. But I am working on a master plan to steal my Aeron chair. I'm thinking of taking it apart and mailing it to myself. Or waiting until Halloween, throwing a sheet over it and pretending it's a fat kid trick or treating.
My favorite... Peter: i also like that first one of the met's glass curtain-wall. i didnt see you take that one yesterday...
infallibly, every summer, while their wives peruse the art, dirty old european tourists gather on the other side of that mirrored glass and spy on the bikini-clad sunbathers on the adjacent grassy... Peter: awesome. im liking closeups/macro stuff lately. that first one is great. Peter: TWIST AND AMAZE! nice score, elaine! two excellent writers.

(a mural which you can see that someone went over in this entry...)
jack: think about it, if we were all gay there would be no one here in 100 years. jack: the zoo, the boathouse, the water fountain, the arches where tyrone power kissed kim novak, the beautiful kim novak. and yes, she is the greatest actress of all times. jack: i love new york in june, how about you, i love a gershwin tune, how about you, aah, strolling around central park in spring, when i was corting my wife i would pick here up at her office on 41st street next to the library and we... jack: chinese lanterns, way back when my kids were kids i had lanterns like that hanging in the patio area near the pool. nowadays everytime we have a bbq they ask for those lanterns. "hey dad, why don't you put up those lanterns?" jack: entrance in rear. opposites. to go in the front you have to enter into the rear. smart, i'll put the front of my house in the back of it and i wont have people visit and annoy me. thereby creating a restful day. also elaine... Myke: I'm feeling it. anon (194.34.10.2): Cheers Myke, have seen you photo's of the city centre, excellent stuff and promote the area very well.
Alright Ste - lets have a few Chesham pictures!
The 'jezzies', for anyone wondering, was local slang for the wild overgrown area between the ship canal and 'Old River', currently being turned into identikit... stevie k: mate, the memories come rolling back. what a shame the jezzies have gone. keep it up. i may put chesham on the map soon. Jerome: i don't care what anyone says (NATHAN'S) is the place to go in coney island. arkon1: heres some info from tacoma news trib. about the trailer on 56Some of the most exquisite work around is by the late Plus, who painted for 10 years before he died at 25 about a year ago. He was Deal's longtime best friend, and Deal said the funeral was... elaine: heh. king missile. so many good lyrics. i think i like the one about jesus best. arkon1: nice!!!!!!!! i love the tribal image ..... and who says graff aint art... and the trailer on 56th was painted in dedication of a girl .... i forgot who exactly did it or the girl was... too much paint in the brain cells... ha! elaine: that cat looks too posh to be chav. more like one of the target demographic. elaine: boing! boing! boing! jeeff: that art gallery looks very intelligent. jeeff: time flies.
i enjoyed the photos. drea: First picture is amazing! I luv it! drea: woops, sorry. It's my first time posting here and I forgot to put my location. It's Toronto, ON EvilGentleman: The date format for weather observations would make the current time 20060323060945 UTC Biff: Looks great. Thank you it's snowing this morning... Chantek: As a knitter, your stuff really strikes a cord with me. Making functional garments is great, but you've taken the 'function' out of the pieces which is part of the shock. A stop sign doesn't need to be warm...as cheesy as it sounds, seeing how you warmed the streets... EvilGentleman: Must have sucked. As far as chances go, that was the big one, but I guess you blew it. Myke: I believe the standard date format in the UK is dd/mm/yy colavito's ghost: wait, how is this the already the 22nd month of 2006??? Peter: liz: one of my co-workers sings aloud to her ipod. i hate it, and it hate her for it. its the most antisocial thing EVAR. id rather her pick her nose and wipe it on me, its that annoying and weird. RonO: I worked at this plant from 1980-1984 when we were working 3 shifts and building 300,000 cars a year. At that time GM was manufacturing the X body car which was highly in demand because of the fuel efficiency offered by these vehicles which were among the first of GM's... sine:
Peter: the weatherstation castle! Peter: SPRING! sine:
Biff: No comment jeeff: i really like that first one. the lighting is perfect and it's a good composition of a difficult subject. jeeff: i saw that truck yesterday in kensington market near spadina. same one - i checked the license plate. i wish i had my camera. jeeff: here are the lyrics to a topical song:
'take stuff from work'
by king missile (lyrics, john s. hall)
take stuff from work.
it's the best way to feel better about your job.
never buy pens or pencils or paper.
take 'em from work.
rubber bands, paper clips, memo pads, folders-take 'em from work.
it's the best way... jeeff: all hail the information age.

**[Slash]... torontofreelance: Mmmm. Brokeback beer. jeeff: indeed. all hail the tectonic plates. Liz: 38? - people who park in bike lanes.
Last summer I saw one such idiot, last summer, park in a bike lane and then open his door into the car lane. Unfortunatly he didn't realize that there were two cycleists coming up right behind him (three if you include me, about... Liz: ksedge: 10th Mar 2006 - 16:56 GMT
not sure what number we're actually at but what about people who sing outloud to their ipods?
