Peter: Almost two years later now. I dont ride that bus anymore. I really never ride any busses, save for one a month back, too tipsy to walk through the hard part of Bklyn. No more train, really, either. I bike everywhere I go nowadays...

Peter: in the area of the last photo, there were signs warning of rattle snakes, and sure enough, many suspicious snake-hole-looking artifacts in the dry soil there. we trod lightly, made a few photos, and left... that was a fun trip, falling in love across america.
