it has been a few years, but i believe it was near this hotel we stayed at between av. adolfo ruiz cortines and av. colon, closer to av. colon, near the central de autobuses- it was underneath a highway, near a buncha cheap-cd, cheap-clothes, cheap-electronics booths.... SCAM28: Yeah a lot had to be done after the war and actually they've just started to rebuild a lot of the bordering towns around Berlin that used to belong to East Germany in the last ten years. So it basically hasn't been noticable until about 5 or 6 years ago.... jack: i spent three years near berlin, it didn't look like that. there were still buildings hollowed out by the allied bombing, new construction was going up and camps still filled with displaced persons. somehow i loved the city, the ancient and historic city of berlin, but it was... little ukraine: WOW especially on those last two. des de niro: bobby sands was a great man.. and i have so much respect. aimee: i think its brilliant that art can be made from other peoples rubbish!
