lavoice.org/modules.php?op=modlo . . . News&file=article&sid=785 GGP: On cold days, the smoke from smokestacks looks even more potent and portentious than usual. Here is one of my poems about smokestacks.
INDUSTRIAL TRINITY
Three squat smokestacks cinched
a little at the waist
will always evoke Three Mile Island.
Each exudes emissions so dense
they linger in the air --
lorgnettes of smog by which
the landscape,... artaud_in_psychatry: thanks....ian GGP: damn! it's like a "space invaders" alien with a serious dental problem! AIRBORNE: DROVE ROUND THE FALLS ON SATURDAY;THEY MIGHT OF CLEANED THEIR ACT UP A BIT BUT I STILL WOULDNT THINK TWICE ABOUT SLOTTIN ONE OF YOU CATHOLIC PARASITES.LOYALISTS HAVE TAKEN CONTROL OF THE WHOLE CITY.YOU FUCKIN MULLOCHS HAVE LOST YOUR WAR.DEATH TO ALL REPUBLICANS. alex satone: my mama told me this place was abandoned and haunted is dat true?... It's actually a handsome building, most of which is not showing.
That's Maple Leaf Gardens in the left background. Tom: Traceurs across the world will weep in hundreds Peter: are the leaks there some well-known phenomenon or something? SEEN: Thats why NYC is "slippin"? Fuck that! Noooo, why... we dont have *any* kings here in in NYC at all do we? None at all. Listen here, fool, GRAFFITI, just like HIPHOP itself, was BORN and BRED in NYC, and NYC has kept it ALL nailed down tight as fuck... racheeeellll: i was doing a report on this project, the comment that they still have leaks helps! thank you, it will be in my paper Biff: I saw Catholic too. What about Presbyterians!? GGP: someone should slide a tiny little ladder out onto that lake and attempt a rescue! Biff: No, it's a designated historic site. An old Quaker Meeting House that has been a rehersal hall for the National Ballet of Canada for as long as I can remember. I'll try and get a picture of their new building which is quite Bauhaus. never jacked for being an ass: remember - its easy to kill shit when you got deep pockets and a team of lawyers behind you. JA might be able to scrap, he might be up as fuck, but unlike most bombers, he's really safe from legal recourse. How much damage would you do if you had... Peter: i thought that perhaps it was a snow-coated elephant seal:
Cameo: I like how the mild fish-eye character of your wide-angle lens enhances the imperfect fit of the door. Tyfoid Kid: Very Cool. Don't you love it when a great picture just drops in your lap? Tyfoid Kid: Yeah it's a Sunflower. Chuckles: What infrastructure planning ! How shocking !! What a blast !!! (PS I still think its a Vatican plot ....) Lyle Webb:

Cheers elaine: you just never know... elaine: poetics of pram grange: So did I GGP. Wacky texans .... jeeff: s: sure toronto may have thrown a few dollars at the homeless problem, but toronto is cash-strapped and will near the point of bankruptcy if this "new deal for cities" doesn't pan out. the real problem with homelessness is that the federal gov't and particularly the province of ontario... GGP: oh boy--the first time i read this, i thought it said, "Catholic Protection Test Point"--and I was VERY AFRAID! groovehouse: "I have to push the pram a lot!" YoMama: Sane Smith was up on the Bklyn Bridge so big you could see it from the Staten Island Ferry back in the day. Thanks for sharing! anon (c234-107.syr-twc.ny.localnet.com): Seriously... there has to be a number of artists out there who would do tile work pro bono just to have their work part of the NYC Subway.

S: What's going on with this building?. I hope they aren't planning to rip it down. There's far too many historic buildings being torn down these days. Sad. Previous Day :: Next Day |
