Previous Day :: Next Dayelaine: dunno if you can read that but it says; "The world's first public park
Victoria Park was London's first public (as opposed to Royal) 'park for the people'. James Pennerthorne laid out the park between 1846 and 1845. Pennerthorne was an assistant to John Nash who was chief designer and... elaine: yeah, it makes london a really rich place to live, even in scruffy neighbourhoods. i mean
BZZZP: this is what i love about symbols on old things. we here have nothing like that level of random history, or very very rarely. ... and nothing at all that could be that old.
thanks for that link... lead to some good g'ing about the crossbones graveyard in southwark.
not wearing glasses,... elaine: shame, i liked the idea of it tiny, and the wooden style top rim could really be ply if it was small - could there even be such a thing as bonsai palms? elaine: careful now, they got you hooked - before you know it they'll reel you in, and before very long you will be at home minding your own business, and you will find that you can't move for betty boop (possibly furry?) BZZZP: nah it's the side of a building opposite "blue angel inn" ... stucco, i expect, like everything in vegas. hool: dovercourt massif. jeeff and i live at dovercourt. just moved. i like it here. vz: wow, the variety of things shown and the didactic style of the captions really flesh out the feel of the neighborhood
i was right around there this sunday, trying to get to brighton beach to be among my fellow russian expats. it took me longer to get across the city than... Bleeagh: When I was a kid, there were long stretches of gorgeous blonde sand nuzzling the pale grey and deep blue skirts of Lake Michigan. These days, the sand is rough and the waters turgid. Some sort of invasive algae coats the lake bottom near shore, where it dies and rots.... elaine: btw howdy: hey guys. i'd be happy to trade links with you. i appreciate the contributions, but don't usually focus on stickers or stencils... does pet bird do any other kinds of artwork?? elaine: looks like it is made of plywood, is it a maquette? elaine: fresh! elaine: found it! it is hrealdic and symbolises the london borough of southwark, just across the river from the city. long way from home! I'm surprised viccy park got it... how bizarre. st george has a lovely cathedral there, in the shadow of the railways, under which is borough market -... elaine: 1) no, much much cheaper, but quite trendy wendy i think - diesel
2) bloody good question. not to do with the park itself i think, but something to do with london bridge, and most probably the 'city' - the original city, and now financial district. i will try a search,... Peter: i love where you say I keep finding interesting things I thought only existed on weekends... i had the exact epiphany when i started walking to work here in nyc... then again when i started cycling, but thats another story for another day.
thanks for posting these photos- very colorful! BZZZP: heh are those miklis?
also, any meaning to those x'd O symbols? Peter: two lifetimes ago, even. i now live in brooklyn again... Peter: totally :) elaine: see, this is the characteristic peter post i was copying in the stratford trip Peter: yeah i walked around last night with the digital camera... a nice change from the usual lofi cameraphone stuff, huh? :) Peter: if you google that, the first hit you get from google is this page ;)

www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=& . . . psp+billboard&btnG=Search elaine: and buildings Anonymous: PS There are like 400 images of this thing in various stages of failure on about 50 sites. just g "crashed psp billboard" elaine: yeah, it's really claustrophobic isn't it? and the nets elaine: back to blue jeeff: i really like the rough-in quality to the piece in the 2nd last pic. Nairi: haha kobe, I was thinking the same. kobe: this one looks right naughty...
cheeky carriage! kobe: is that george bush in that graff? i bet that spot would look right lovely when the lillies are in full bloom. kobe: cheers jamie! nice to see some new photos, m8. kobe: i always get a little weirded out by vehicles that say vague things on them, like the one above that reads "special operations division". wonder what that means? its anyones guess. kobe: now thats a crisp, good-looking photo. it looks like the budgie is coming outta the lamp post kobe: well i do say! international pet birds galore.... kobe: yea, you know, like the band :-D
www.cornershop.com Peter: now that would be odd! i wish there were more woods to walk in around prospect heights, though. it would be nice to have easily accessable nature excursions... and i bet pet bird would show up there pretty quick, to boot. GGP: So glad to see this. Makes me feel like home.
I had a really spooky thought the other day while walking in the woods: what if, while walking in the woods one day, I came upon a Pet Bird sticker on a tree? George: POW! Die Bitch! Peter: Pet Bird is definitely world-wide. we're getting hits from around the world for people searching for pet bird graf... interesting. GGP: pet bird has migrated to England? Now THIS is news! Peter: wow, thats alot of decoration! Peter: simply great. i love the repeat.
reminded me of this blank-like photo:
Jamie: Yes, i forgot to add any text to my post. These are all taken with my Nokia 6230 which hates dullness but loves bright sunny conditions like this morning Peter: every time i ride the traqin through the jamaica bay wildlife refuge, i get the same vibes... so much green/wild around, so close to urban terrain you can still smell it... Jamie: In the UK we call them cornershops :-) Peter: what are the "beaches" like on lake michigan? are there any? wonder what they look like under 5 feet of snow... Peter: sweet! inner-casino photos always rule...

last time i was in camden, i was almost mugged by someone trying to steal the 50 cents I was attempting to use in a payphone. heh. Peter: ahh yes, something nice and quiet. that chair looks like it was made to sit in, at night, near the shore or something. peaceful. yay. Peter: be careful, bird, dont hit the plane! Peter: sweet- gotta love the graf trux! west coast graf is pretty fresh, i gotta admit. its nice getting little glimpses of other styles through photos like these... Peter: Abandoned Carts unite! Peter: id love to see a larger version of the last montage one- thats a great shot.

Anusha: Tnx to the add of the brand Aquarius by the Coca Cola Company, Don Justo finally receives the support he deserves. Lili: Editor,
This is far-out. Providing a fourm for these folks to communicate about

Lili: Appreciated chair, blessed home. Lili: Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not;
and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory
was not arrayed like one of these. sine: I love peter! that is all. Lili: Becoming the self we see. The person who sincerely seeks Truth is ever safe
and always in danger. All are and will become the light.
Lili: I see - understood. Makes good sense. So the capping is, generally speaking, solely based on bandwidth usage ? GGP: the emp state looks like the proverbial needle in the haystack.
