Previous Day :: Next Dayea: aha!
hool: he landed on grass, but it was thin. the landing was perfect. Peter: dont be afraid to let your colors shine! j03: gay little pride fest rainbows! puck: i live on nostrand its nice to see someone puttin up some pics of this spotput up some more of nostrand ok Peter: heh heh heh... lol! ea: looks like "odor" tagged both your trucks yesterday. hmm I think odor needs more style, bout as pretty as pusher elaine: hah, yes, there he is, barking at his paper parents on the step ambientfusion: Peter: this has a vaguely twilight, phallic quality to it. i love how the lights are surrounded by little round rainbows of refraction, too. Peter: thats awesome that you can walk around in belarus, stenciling things in the broad daylight :) kobe: i love how u did all the photos into a montage. thats cool. it reads like a storyboard. elaine: cool as elaine: o so hool - check out the line continuing from the spiral staircase! kobe: he yhool, didja see how he landed that? what did he land on? paving? ouch! kobe: wow indeed. all i can say is NICE JOB bringing this one to us. this is good one-off content. i bet youre the only one that captured this, much less put it online. thanks for going through that effort- this one is dramatic and the sort of content that makes... kobe: also the last photo.... the man looks like hes making a bm onto the tube stop. kobe: oh my god that man's stomache is totally going to give birth to an alien baby! kobe: i think that the graf trux series are amongst my fav things on this site. thanks m8! more graf trux plz!! kobe: ja is the man. a simple google query informed me of his greatness. too bad the goo on this entry is so random, lol! kobe: thats pretty. skyward bound flying motorways at night. cement legs crushing cars below under the watching eye of ringlet lights. the city never sleeps. elaine: yesss, he puts a whole new twist on 'street food'. he takes off if you don't watch him like a hawk, and fine dines out the bins. he can eat a lot of rubbish in an ambient style while walking, but his last good chow down cost ian £75 and... jeeff: if they were, that must've been a fun stencil to put up.
"now fire the guns." Peter: damn, thats huge! but... totally worth it. thanks a million. i keep meaning to go down there to see if that piece is still there, but havent had the chance sicne i first saw it in 2000-01 or so... thanks for posting this :) Peter: ja is definitely one of my favorite nyc writers, thats for sure. thanks for the photos... da letter: this is desolate n scary lookin 4 sure. da letter: ayo, i know this flick is hella large, but i thought u might wanna see that sane shit in its full glory so here it is
415-776-2900: skert is in marin......in prison!!! i ran into JENKS ESL told me he in San Quentin. That's rough. Poor guy. He had some sick tags and alot of etch tags. Oh well, do the crime do the time. Peter: jeeff: NICE! thats the coolest thing ive seen today, hands down. thanks man, that made me smile :) Peter: not to mention... we're not stupid. we see the news. weve taken history. we know whats up and what was up in NI. i think jamie's entries have been spot-on, in regards to both the history of the place and the current state of things. i aprpeciate his entries. Peter: jeeff: as construction/clean-up at the site progresses (albeit verrrrry slowly), things get shuffled around a bit... barriers are moved temporarily, walls and netting that purposefully obfuscate the site from prying eyes are momentarily loosed for moving, etc... and as chance would have it, i pass through there twice a day,... Peter: totally. i love the ruralnoise too. Peter: i saw a big daddy kane video on vh1 this weekend. it ruled. Peter: wow! now this is a good entry! its like a still-action eposide of "Cops", heh. i can almost hear them narrating the scene for the camera... Peter: also: street food... hahahaha. Peter: totally! youre representing the subtle, abstract anti-buff graf, heh. Peter: cant wait to see your photos! Peter: Halep kebabby! the legacy gary busey has left to the world of kebabs is astonishing! hehehehehe. PRPoet: You want to talk about respecting each other and taking care of the nation; why don't you kick the gang shit to the curb?! Want to do some good? Be a role model to the shorties and teach them why being in a gang is bad. The... Peter: nice. airplanes over highways... i love shots of how incoming/outgoing flight traffic lines up with the rest of the scenery. Peter: the color drips look like they were shot there with a paintball gun... Peter: wow, thats alot of green. nice. Peter: nice! i love hte one of the guy sunbathing on the west side bike path. cool... thanks for posting these. yay manhattan! Peter: nice! northwest-style graf trux! :D Peter: ahh the constant battle of the buff. thats a pretty cool stencil in the last one. if you get more photos as time passes and things change, update us :) elaine: this is such a lovely suite of photos. i just looked at it again and was struck by the juxtapositon of different registers. nice elaine: i remembered it as a fabric thing, but maybe i was wrong, or else maybe, since you can make the emulsion yourself you can put it on anything. i was quite intrigued about it at one point and was going to try and use it for teaching, but it seems... Lili: Yum. So this site has inspired me to get out with my camera ? I have some
pretty good photos of UCLA Botanical Gardens - waterfalls and my pal the
one legged scrubjay (some say bluejay but they are different). Hope to be
posting more soon.
Lili
Lili: Oh, yes, I ran across this earlier. So fabric was used instead of paper ?
The effect with fabric must be nice - grainy ?
Lili
elaine: yeah, i think that's why she doesn't swim him yet, he is still a puppy. charlie, on the other hand, does get sick, but that is because of his preference for 'street food' - the more rancid the better. the canal is pretty clean, fishes live in it, and birds... elaine: sorry, idiot! here - www.astro.wisc.edu/~mukluk/blprint.html elaine: i remembered - they are called cyanotypes, and if you search that you get recipes and everything. some examples athttp://www.astro.wisc.edu/~mukluk/blprint.htmlto give you a visual hook jeeff: funny, as a visual artist you have to re-train your eyes to see the colour and atmosphere of light again. i'm part of an online illustrator's forum and many of the art-discussions threads are about the physics of light refraction. how it bounces and things like that.
i know... fuzzytank: haha sweet fuzzytank: i saw another version of this...
all the buff outlined in 3d, to bad i was on my way to a differnt location witha carfull of people and couldnt stop, but ill try an get back there afore it gets re-de-faced fuzzytank: nice
thats more like it buddy
we all get decom missioned eventually but if i ever make it to micronesia ill be lucky ;) naj: seen it hundreds of times. everytime it's that much more incredible.this time is no exception especially with the words. Lili: Kristy - nice post. Your post is very orderly and clear - reminds a dash
of an industrial manufacturing procdure. There are lots of things that
can be done with screen-printing. De cows are my pals as well. Thanks !
Lili vz: i know! i love how cameras pick up the actual color of lighting. the eye is designed to adapt to any light to ensure color constancy, but a photo reveals things like this Anonymous (adsl-67-122-210-164.dsl.snfc21.pacbell.net): If only I had the smallest concept of this bravery. I bow my head in respect of a great hhuman being. Lili: Coca-Cola Company,
I would like to thank you for drawing attention to the
work of Justo Gallego Martínez in Spain. I can, on one
level, identify with difficult creative work that goes
unappreciated. As odd as this next statement may
appear, I believe it to be true: You have performed
a very significant... Previous Day :: Next Day |
