Previous Day :: Next DayBZZZP: fuzzy's comment rules.
ps rules also the levitating girl.
ps gramma wha BZZZP: i am so incredibly mindfucked by you descibing the colors of things in b&w photos... but yeah thww clothesline one is niice. i should ggo shoot this building by the qboro that has the same vibe. BZZZP: I have been ssaying that to myself for years, literally. I keep waiting for a mpx bump on the canon dslrs, can't qquite swing the 22mpx medium format back. BZZZP: I feel compelled to respond to this with:
St. Petersburg, Russia, directly in front of the statue of Peter. ... The less than exciting explanation is that many couples stop here as part of their wedding ceremonies. Venus: No one is picking up the phone, I guess it's clear shes gone & this little masochist is lifting up her dress, guess I thought, I could never feel the pain I feel. Hey Jupiter, I know I wouldn't of left you here, hiding here. I know the courage dies... elaine: i know! isn't it. i was already filming that day and my friend said 'look at that leg' - i couldn't believe it. far out frakt: here are other pictures from the same ride:
othila.no-ip.com/cpg132/thumbnails.php?album=3 kobe: that is so creepy, elaine! love the photos though. i know right where that water is and wouldnt be too surprised if it were a real leg in there 8-] kobe: i was off on holiday for a bit then came back to find this entry. good stuff! i for one would not mind seeing much more of san francisco. cheers! elaine: leg!!!!
nb: I love citynoise. Peter: nice! check it: www.sleepingfish.net/5cense/5ptz/5ptz_03.htm
also: matt.pintglass.org/index.php?p=319 Peter: heh, that looks just like my area of brooklyn, all the way down to the kuma graf. well, and minus the water and sutro tower ;) elaine: that one has got a little of a christo mojo about it just now Peter: cool!
i think we should start a series of photos pf such buildings, all with their own special names, heh. there are about 5 such semi-constructed buildings in my hood. must get flicks of em. elaine: i see it, and immediately i think of a building on the thames which i think of as being the typewriter building. one day when i go 'up west' i will bring it here Laura : Thank you, Jamie. :) I plan to post often. elaine: jamie, it is a real word, but not a real spelling (impressionistic) Peter: time to go on and schedule that two-week holiday for summer 2012! Jamie: whoopdie-fucking-doo Peter: heh heh! you guys got it! congrats! >;)
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_Summer_Olympics Peter: ...that and the fact that my cam doesnt like hot, humid, rainy days ;) Jamie: time for a new camera, with a bulb setting, methinks Jamie: i particularly like the second and last ones. they'd make great desktop wallpaper at a higher resoultion. Feel free to contribute more to the site. I think i speak for many of us here when i say you seem to display some real photographic talent:-) Jamie: your commuters are becoming increasingly immpressionistic (if thats a real word) Jamie: you must be joking Peter: Peter: cool- i used to work up at cpmc in washington heights... its quite an interesting place, thats for sure.
also: welcome to citynoise :) these photos are great. feel free to grace us with more submissions anytime! Peter: i dunno, most mommas that have even a vague idea about cooking could probably outdo mickey d's "big breakfast"...
nice. one of my secret hobbies is checking the scrawl that people add to ads like this. nice! Peter: i knew this graf writer who once entered a freight layup to bomb some of the cars in there... turns out they were all tanker cars like the one shown above...
to make a long story short, he climbed atop the car to see what was up, and discovered that he... Peter: steamy, rainy, lovely. im loving the photomontage stuff here lately, also... Peter: sweet! BZZZP: and sometimes it's clear why gibson might live there... hot. elaine: bollocks elaine: the pagans of my mind, that is elaine: what gets me is how little these geezers look like pagans roland: yer - there's nothing like a bloke shaking a stick with bells on it to get an englishman's pagan juices flowing. the tate is in a top spot - the south bank is generaly teeming with events on any given day - by the time i even get to... elaine: gosh, that's a fascinating and insightful comment, i never woulda thought of it that way joey: the ecological trickle down waste theory. it's one way of spreading the industrial decay. if you have a couple of different chemical cars on one train you get a trickle down cocktail. fuzzytank: hehe i think it was actually called 'coconut tree' on the label
the cousin bought anything that would make the loudest sounds
so the show was not the brightest
but i think he woke ere' body up Laura : That one looks like feathers! fuzzytank: awww you go on takin them photos of strange people an make them look beautiful
cause when i try an snap wierd people
they just keep lookin wierd
fuzzytank: the hotel had a pretty kickin view...
i was on the couch but i didnt mind cause I just left the sliding doors to the balcony open and had an awsome view
wakin up that high in the air is really something fuzzytank: pretty much missed all the real shows but heres one from WA! ;)
Laura : Thanks, KC. Those are two apartments on the same floor- friends and family set up the lines. My boyfriend lives the building over and his mom shares a line with his grandma. I think its nice- and economical. ravae: Been there and seen this it is Awsome I recomend to every one to go see it. jeeff: nice. my towel fell off the line once while i lived in tokyo. it fell down a crevasse between two buildings and i never got it back. pissed me off. but i enjoyed watching it weather through the seasons. jeeff: how cool that you've got the same shot in day & night time. kc: these shots of a building with laundry, in black and white...feels like something out of another era, a movie...(On the Waterfront, or something??)...is that all one apartment or do two share the line, I wonder? anyhow, welcome. GGP: I'm there! Take me to the sky. ea: gotta question...
you seem to take canted photographs (3236.2051.2053.2318.2321.2322.2323), even when it isn't in an effort to fit more in the frame. why is that? Previous Day :: Next Day |
