Previous Day :: Next Dayzagg: These photos are all good and great --- but I'm sadly disapointed that none of the shots have me walking past (I was there from Friday through Sunday).
I would say my favourites would be 'man doing splits' and the group of friends sitting by the (rainbow) fence.
Am I allowed to... EvilGentleman: I remember making my way past street gangs at 4 in the morning to go eat a quarter pounder here. That was way back in 1985, when I was 16. My grandmother never knew I had ducked out of the Edison Hotel where we were staying for a few hours... EvilGentleman: Yikes! Coronation Street is scary enough to watch without Mr. Cid around.
And as far as having hip parents goes, I remember playing "Balls to the Wall" by Accept extremely loud, and my mother barges into my room and yells at me to turn it up! Later, when I was attempting... kate: I saw this guy late Monday night, he told me to google "ninjas killed my family". He talked non stop for 30 minutes, talked about his experiences in jail, mentioned he'd been in Baltimore. I actually have a couple photos of him, with new, improved signs. He got off at... Chris Erb: I tried getting to windows in the Mariott but there were no windows from the hallways and I wasn't brave enough to walk into rooms that were being cleaned. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Actually, here's a better scene:
Early hours of New Year's Day, circa 1988. Penfold mansion. Hildenborough, Kent. Talking Heads is blaring throughout the house. Feet pound on the stairs. The door to slams open.
"Turn that bloody racket down!" Screams the teenage Catherine at her parents. They laugh and call her a... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Oh, Evil G, that's pretty much the content of many of our conversations, usually thanks to red wine. The reason I've never done hallucinogens/psychadelics (even through 5 years of art school) is because my Mum told me about a bad trip she had. It had something to do with 'Coronation... EvilGentleman: Yeah, I know. I was not very satisfied with the angle I had, either. I wound up taking this shot from the parking lot at the corner of Rene Levesque and Mackay. I think I could do better if I climbed on top of one of the buildings nearby, but... EvilGentleman: Just imagine if you had sent it to your parents without flipping through it.
The Scenario:
Catherine calls Mum
Catherine: Hello, Mum.
Mum: Bloody Hell, they won't stop.
Catherine: What won't stop?
Mum: The dancing shillings, of course.
Catherine: Dancing shillings? What are you going on about?
Mum: These ancient vases have dancing shillings on them.
Catherine: Um... Right.... jeeff: oooh, ahhh. jeeff: i like that, and the owl tag on it. i was going to take some photos of it but i couldn't get the right angle. EvilGentleman: Well, that has to be one of the more bizarre finds of your year. Groovy and far out, man. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Some pictures of Souda, Crete (Greece) and the plucky Mr Pendlebury's final resting place, courtesy of Kato.
Catherine Penfold-Waxman:
Myke: Good job, oneon. Myke: chiamattt, the milkcrate bed is great! mccarf: Yeah that looks amasingly like a robot, and by like a robot I mean NOT LIKE a robot E: I saw this dude outside of Sassafraz, doing pushups against the pole, with all these rich people sitting on the patio laughing, and even the cops just laughed. A little loud, but funny... MMMMMeeeeerrrrrrrryyyy christmas!!!!!! E: He's one of my co-workers boytoys apparently!! hahaha Editor: great photos. i've take the liberty of combining your three recent posts into one. people here usually post groups of similar photos together like this, and i think you'll agree they have far greater impact as a set. Sarwar Jahangir: Excellent document. May I use copy these pictures for teaching.
Looking forward.

sjahangir@kbcc.cuny.edu Selig: bakery crates make fine folio storage. Selig: hool: my courage still lacks. working on it. ta. EvilGentleman: I almost forgot: In this view, you can see a new sign in the original location at bottom left, and the original sign in the new location upstairs.
Selig: ha. i wish. thanks jack. Selig: is that a wave of recognition from mr. hardhat? ian: Much more interesting is the bird behind his head. I.T.U.C.: Pure gleaming perfection on two wheels... Norma: Reading through these comments made me quite sad. N Ireland will never be able to move on with bad attitudes. Ok so bad stuff has happened in the past but if we keep dwelling on it, things will never get better. If you open your eyes you... fieldzy: Is there any news on the actual date? I cannot wait... benji: thats hot samantha: this is an awesome buildinG...........! Previous Day :: Next Day |
