Previous Day :: Next Daychiamattt: Canadian-Canadian makes a good point. With the bullshit way they make houses these days, I am sure in 30 years they will look like shit. Perhaps the government should use taxpayer money to built high-quality buildings instead of trying to appease canadian-canadians by building cheaper and lower quality buildings. rhys: dude b original nd wa d hell iz it (looks lyk som twisted kid tryin to stuff her pants with a missile!)
BlazedOne: i was wondering how to get ur perfect deisighns on there?? where do you get butcher paper, wraping paper, and all thoses papers printed on?? or do you have to draw/paint them on by hand?? anon (201.130.216.232): CHIN NGEN SU MADRE aer suzuki: i don't think anyone will even see this comment, much less have an answer, but i'm still confused. and what i really don't get is why sixy is still in the hot topics list over a year later...in fact, the hot topics don't seem to change much at all.
anyway.... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Actually, I was out with 3 girlfriends. I had three delicious Dirty Martinis and about 9 olives. But I did stagger home to my husband, of course. This are Useful messages: This are Useful messages EvilGentleman: David w: Most of the island of Montreal west of Saint-Laurent Boulevard was English until the 1970's, when the language laws (Bill 101) resulted in the mass exodus of over half of English Montrealers.
Chris: I agree entirely. EvilGentleman: Canadian-Canadian, why do you say: "Half of NDG is immigrants on welfare already." That seems like a pretty narrow-minded view. Do you have something against immigrants? And I seriously doubt your numbers, since most people born overseas work a hell of a lot harder than Canadian-born people. They have no... Marlo: khoroscho, spasibo! Kak dela?
Marlo: :) My pleasure! Marlo: I can certainly relate. I had felt the need to get out of my home town (Dallas, TX) since I was a very small child, and university gave me that opportunity. You might be able to create a niche anywhere you live, but some are certainly more comfortable than others.... jack: catherine, you bring back memories. radio city was the place to take a date in the 60's. the night before i left for the army, i went to radio city and saw, 'fanny' to this day i still like that movie. catherine, i hope when your... jack: i think i have the caeser design naturally. what is an illest style, is it sickening. jack: fantastic, thx. jack: wow, really great. st. petersburg was once stalingrad, but they placed the name back after the dictator died. many russians died fighting the germans. i believe 16 million russians in all died in wwii. i had a friend in the army who was in the russian... citrus juicer: This are Useful messages jack: thanks so much. great pics. the women are truly beautiful because my son married one. of course lets not forget the lovely ladies that grace citynoise. elaine is a knockout but i haven't seen any other girls. EvaneRox iod 2dx: thats mother fucking Feesr kgkass krew.. Peter: new spoiler score on a nissan:
Peter: whomever made the sign that says "ceaser designs" must have also made the 2 Eggs Any Stile sign... nice find! Chris Erb: Thank you for all the kind words EvilGentleman, they have really brightened my day!
I know things can change drastically as you get older but I have no real desire to return to the Maritimes in the future. I've never really felt like this is where I belong. I... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: You never want to get caught with a flat. Chris Erb: I guess I'm living proof that the clean windows do indeed work. I could have gone without the headache though.
I just realized that I was standing on the foot of my future street. Not that it means anything considering I'll be living about a three hour walk from... Chris Erb: What I'm really curious about is the idea of a hair "blow out". Chris Erb: From the information I've been given concerning apartment rental in Montreal, the city only has a 2% vacancy rate for low income apartments (prices that low income families, students, or new immigrants can afford). There is a definite need to increase the number of low income residencies in the... Canadian-Canadian: Not very interesting Canadian-Canadian: Just more proof the US is turning into a third-world country. Plus, police officers doubling as janitors is pretty funny. David w.: i notice that the No solicitos sign was unilingual english. I guess this part of the city used to be english? Canadian-Canadian: Wow. There are TONS of vacant apartments in Montreal at low-low rents. Half of NDG is immigrants on welfare already. There was no need to spend taxpayer dollars on this. And i'm sure in 30 years the new project will look just as ugly. EvilGentleman: Ok, fair enough. But here in Montreal, you would be part of the majority, not the minority. Considering this city's history of being devoutly Catholic, it is quite surprising. At least until you count the sex shops and strip clubs, when a distinctly open-minded culture becomes apparent. We still have... EvilGentleman: I should paint this in a toilet. That would confuse a few people... EvilGentleman: I suspect Chris, like many who grew up around the Maritimes, has finally reached that stage of life where he must venture off to sample life in the big city before deciding where he belongs in this world.
This is not to be confused with him deserting the Maritimes, but the... Chris Erb: It looks like a neat place. Chris Erb: I'm leaving for Montreal to go to Concordia. The only real reason i'm living in Fredericton is because I wanted to get out of Sussex after graduating highschool. I didn't want to go too far away because I was dating someone who was still living in Sussex but... chiamattt: Swinney has it. steal code. chiamattt: You need to have 'other language' capabilities. aer suzuki: beautiful, thanks for posting. Chiamattt: sckool is ckool! Marlo: You're going to Montreal I've gathered-- that'll be nice. But why (if you don't mind my asking) are you leaving Fredericton? New school? ksedge:
no dumping in calgary either thanks to the bow river. i love how it's in both french and english there though. adam: thanks.. i was surprised that there weren't any other posts showing pics of rio City Official: The housing projects were originally established as waystations for people and families who fell upon hard times and needed temporary support while they got their acts together. These housing projects were never intended for people to move into and stay permanently. In the 1950's the occupants had that purpose in... Marlo: They're beautiful--- like shadows. Susannah : I live in a predominately republican community. Most people I know say things like "we're in a culture war"and "its part of the liberal agenda" and they circulate petitions against gay marriage - I can't quite understand the issue from their perspective. I'm not even sure I understand the... Chris Erb: I read that story too. It's very interesting to hear what happens behind the scenes. I was also surprised to see that he has over 100 000 tags and to get to be visible in NYC you need to have at least 10 000 tags! Chris Erb: I agree, it's always nice to be able to get great shots with not so great equipment, I just find that too much of what I photograph could have been enhanced with a better camera. Image quality isn't always my biggest problem either. My camera, being quite old, has... barry: nice photos. TECH-One: yo , ja is up in seattle right now its dope Previous Day :: Next Day |
