Previous Day :: Next Day

elaine: different every time... though within a limited palette of what i like and what the shop downstairs sells. i like the image of the 'tiny picnic' it makes me think you are sharing with pixies

in response to Disorganized Rabble

Peter: i love having that dinner. i like taking all the tiny bits of leftovers i have and puttingem all into all sorts of different bowls and eating them like you would samples at the grocery, or a tiny picnic.

in response to Disorganized Rabble

elaine: i had sausages for my tea. and turkish aubergene and mozzarella and tomato and brown sauce and avocado. it was a special i call 'what i have got in the fridge'

in response to Disorganized Rabble

Peter: be sure to check this one out. add tips as necessary.

in response to Scrawl on the Wall

Macavity: One thing I like to to is wheatpasting - making/buying flyers and posters, mixing up some wheat-based adhesive, and sticking them on walls and such. Next time I do some of that, I'll make sure to take pictures!

in response to Scrawl on the Wall

elaine: i read there is a lido in saltdean!!!!! huzzah!!! we a re so going there the minute i can get down to brighton again ra! ra! and double ra! it will be salty and nice and warm and outdoors. woo hoo!!!!

in response to Sofa sore

Peter: the word saugerties sounds like the word sausages a little bit. thats why i think of em whenever i hear someone say saugerties.

in response to Disorganized Rabble

Macavity: It's only well-known if you live in New York (it's best known in Ulster County, as that's where it is). To people from out-of-state, though, the usual response is "Where?"

in response to Disorganized Rabble

Peter: its uncanny, actually.

GGP: Neighbor Peter, the tree/art is on Flatbush, near the Charcuterie at the corner--it's somewhere between the veterinary office and the Charc. If facing the clocktower, you will see it up in the tree. (I HOPE these are accurate memories of the location--good luck!) Neighbor GGP

in response to Freemont & MLK Blvd

Peter: neighbors... i love how small a world it is on this site sometimes... ive come into contact with people frm my neighborhood, too, through this site.

in response to Freemont & MLK Blvd

in response to Freemont & MLK Blvd

GGP: most def a mixed metaphor with the stars/stripes and the pigeon. it's had me confused, too. but then, a pigeon is a rock dove, so perhaps the image is meant to refer to "doves" and hawks. surely, the doves are getting angry now, perhaps feeling ready to step out of...

in response to Allout Shelter +

GGP: Found: Voo Voo's ancestors.

in response to voo-voo is missing

Peter: yeah i was wondering about that too... far too polished to be , but too torn-up to identify, heh. def a pigeon though... not sure exactly what the image represents though...

Peter: ooh! that too. /! i gotta go see that for myself today :)

in response to Freemont & MLK Blvd

MoeRex: i'm trying to figure out what's up with the angry bird + angry dude sticker. looks like a pigeon and a...longshoreman? peace protester? beat poet? vagrant? having an argument. who do you think will win? it looks like a pretty big pigeon. and what's up with the stars behind the...

Peter: woah, i just now saw this for the first time... interesting!

in response to Graf Trux 9: Return of the Original Graf Trux....

Peter: heh. i like the little orange tv. and of course, the brain slice photos... often, we get so caught up in the sweeping portraits of cityscapes here, the graf, bridges, etc that we forget that some of the truest essences of citynoise can reside in the curiosities that surround our banal...
