Previous Day :: Next Dayjack: two months ago a young man and his charming girlfriend were sitting in a car parked near a park. the news was on the radio and a police dispatch was made for the lookout of an excaped killer. he would dismember lovely young girls. he was noted for... jack: it looks like an aloe plant jack: the photo of the purse shows an area of stones circular. it used to be a water fountain where people would pile up and i mean pile up on each other on a sweltering day to get some water. eker(Russia): Its real OLD SCOOL!I like it! klutch: the bug boy and arbus kid are by -struct. piranha erem: wow i had missed the video before- it is very nice! i watched ita few times. felt like i was right there. we need more of that sort of stuff here if i may say so. piranha erem: these are nice! how can i get real stickers from them? jeeff: oh fine. here's the one with your quote on it:
suggestions/critiques appreciated. GGP: good video! I liked the sound-scape, too. GGP: I love these guys. Seen them around over the years. Nice to have them here. elaine: woo hoo! see the video! roll up roll up!!! elaine: oh jeeff for lord! jeeff: yeah hm, i sent it to peter. i'll post it soon. i'm feeling shy. Marilyn-TIHM: said...Tokyo Garden, Snoqualmie Pass, and lots of laughs. From SeaTac to JFK...making moves that last. what up OZERO.
elaine: cor, thanks for that elaine: yeah, i like it, it made me laugh. i like the livejournals. they even had a group you could join on 7/7 which only had actual breaking news, which meant you didn't have to watch the repetetive scrolling misery on news 24 to get updates on travel issues and updates... elaine: come now, GGP, you know what to do! isle of dogs
and, aw, poor robotbuilding... GGP: hilarious link, elaine. elaine: ha ha - public health standards fall to 'icky' - reminds me of this www.livejournal.com/community/br . . . its_americans/671684.html GGP: what's the story with the isle of dogs?
that white building in the first shot is like a robot toothache. and I love the sheening, keening silver slivers in the last shot. GGP: just to beat this dead (crashed) horse (car) a bit further, I kind of freaked when Peter said in his crash post that the paramedics gloves were sitting by the driver's seat. If used and then removed and left there, we're talking icky public health practice, to say the least!... elaine: yeah, jeeff, spill! GGP: thank you for enlightening me. It's high time I knew about GMT!! jamie: jeeff: i'd like to see your design Jamie: chip vans! elaine: i made a movie of that view, the lamps were slowly swaying. tick. tock. tick. tock....
and here's another;
elaine: you bet i will. i took some photos when i went to greenwich, but not what i wanted for a posting, and i didn't go up the hill to where i know the line is, that day. it had been a while since i had been to greenwich, and i... elaine: it does seem a little sloppy. perhaps some other crimes could be left lying about outside - or just, you know, stuff of theirs - traffic cones, i dunno. i am just visualising a big mass of police junk Peter: elaine: please take photos of the brass line! :) elaine: ja ja. greenwich mean time, and i have been there and there is a brass line in the road so you can have a foot in one time and a foot in another, though it doesn't 'work' in that you don't instantly become a time traveller as such. i am... Peter: ggp: i agree. you think after the crashed car got tagged up theyd rethink its location. such a busy intersection, too! wonder if the graf will make it into any evidence photos? now that would be a hoot. Peter: greenwich mean time? GGP: i hear you about "professional"--but must there be dead and dying vehicles with smashed windows right at the entrance of the building? it would be nice if they would clean up their front lawn. ;)
GGP: what is GMT, anyway?
General Mandatory Time?
Generic Mediocre Time?
Gentle Mental Tempo?
Please advise.
Peter: i think that "professional" is a bit of a reach, when describing the nypd, heh. which is funny, cause its part of their motto... elaine: it could be worse, the polis could look really professional GGP: it's crazy! I feel like Pet Bird is taunting us! Peter: i dunno! i just think its hilarious that it has a Pet Bird tag on it, lol... GGP: yep, that is the self-same car. I hadn't seen your post. How long are they going to leave the evidence just laying around in front of the police station? doesn't look too...professional. elaine: aha. brooklyn is a forest where you little creatures live! Peter: nice series!! and, isnt that the infamous crashed car? Guy: I don't get why people from west coast get mad about their being east coast bloods and crips when theres bloods and crips down south too so I don't see a big deal. grimreaper3248: Not from that area but is it the old Boiler house from the original water well that fed the park before city water?
www.prospectpark.org/hist/archiv . . . ell_and_boiler_house.html
Second guess would be a Restroom. High windows would lend well to a restroom.
I cant find Empire on this map but I assume its down near Ocean.

Is it... elaine: regent's park is big, well looked after, wide avenues, trees, roses, a boating lake. a zoo, a canal, and it's west central london, so as far as i am concerned it may as well be another city... but i have been there a number of times. a pelican asked me... elaine: i am following the principle of - the safest place in the world is the last place to be bombed, and am off down the other end of hackney rd tonight to give a reading at a film/spoken word night in columbia rd. so bollocks to the fearmongers, what else... elaine: i know DJ went the pilot for preference, but i have always been drawn back to the brit. they do such good fish and chips, and a good pint of guinness, my ale of choice, and the puddings are fantastic, though i rarely got as far as pudding without bursting... Peter Howarth: I lived in nearby GREATSTONE-ON-SEA in 2000.I wwnt every week to the hut that sold all manner of smoked fish.I also visited the local hostelry(Brittania)for an excellent pint and occasionally superb fish and chips Jamie: I particularly liked this part:
##"I saw an Asian guy run onto the train hotly pursued by three plain-clothes police officers. One of them was carrying a black handgun - it looked like an automatic - they pushed him to the floor, bundled on top of him and unloaded five shots... Jamie: A man has been shot at Stockwell Tube station by armed police officers.
Passenger Mark Whitby told BBC News he had seen an Asian man shot five times by "plain-clothes police officers" with a handgun.

the kitty goes very well with the rammstein my visitor is playing this morning Windy city girl: COOL--Kinda Goth don'tcha think? jeeff: he's chained and he has no eyes. shitty deal. i wonder what that symbolizes. Madre Sufrida: To all the KIngs out there. I grew up in the hood'but I got my ass out of the hood--I recieved a college educatina & now I'm a teacher--my son--he's a King now--he's not well--he's mentally ill and you know what? The Kings take advantage of that --Please... cafeconleche: This is in regards to Reality's take on what is happening in HP. People...its called regentrification. Its been happeingin since I was a student at Clemente...WHite people Do have a chioice! The rent in some areas are cheap but the reality is that nuestra comunidad was a... GGP: me too, peter, like photographing endangered species before they're gone. it all feels so borderline, about-to-be-past-tense over there. the details cry out to be captured. GGP: if wm. burroughs did freehand graf from beyond the grave, mayhap..... GGP: joey, you devil--it's only Thursday! You're jumping the gun.
This see-no-evil lion is a poignant beauty, on a Friday the 22nd or a Thursday the 21st. Timeless, in any zone.
joey: nothing wrong with the b&w ants-eye view of the tree either. oh wait, even better there's a person in that photo with a dog. stranger than first seen. hidden dimensions. like the soaring bird. but is the person becoming a tree, or the tree becoming a person. i'm...
