Irlam's people are warm and friendly. I loved the rain and the blue sky when the clouds let it through. The ducks at... Michelle: I use to live in Cabrini Greens in the 90's. And I miss it soooo much, even though I had a hard life I never forgot where I cam from because I know it made me who I am. I stayed on the fifteenth floor in the "RED" building. And... little ukraine: livia, thank you for these - what an amazing city is sao paulo. the density of the skyline, especially as seen in the Rooftops II post, rivals that of NY or Hong Kong. beautiful. Ya. My cute Pink bike got stollen today from Bathurst/Harbord area.: Question... Is Uncle Jacob the same thing as Bike Pirates? I live in the neighborhood and the only bike shop I know around there is Bike pirates. Anyways - my bike disappeared off the steel bar in our front yard with not a sign of the lock or anything this... Sheila Hilton: The school on Allotment Road was Alfred Turner Lower School, where the first & second year pupils attended before moving up to the school on the station approach. The primary school on allotment road Cadishead was definately used as temp accommodation when the fire burned down the wooden section of Irlam high in summer of 1977.I remember the morning it was burning, and everyone happy because it meant there'd be no school.
