Previous Day :: Next Daysusannah: This is the same photo as "Thirsty" with a ripple effect added. susannah: I liked the way the sun shone on the water - it was like a trail of where the boat had been and a map to where it would be going. ksedge: i'm guessing from the string leather outfit the park is somewhere near boystown? jack: biff, no girls? Ezequiel (pretinho) BH MG : O bom do le parkour e com sauto mortais e vai um alo para os manos do montreal Andrew Smith: Zagg - how did you guess? (I did cheat & Babelfished this one, though) Andrew Smith: That's the guy Jack. I'm sure the guide said the wood came from Sherwood Forest! He was a bit of a turncoat, though, and sometimes used to steal windows from the poor to give to the rich.
Funny you mention The Beatles. The guide did mention that the Beatles recorded a... jack: dale, wasn't he with the band of outlaws known as robin hood and his merry band of theives. he probably left the sherwood forest after they were pardoned by richard the lionheart and went into the window business. but hemade nice looking windows and to think they are... zagg: Thank you for the translation. Did you major in English to English translation in your schooling?
:D
Chris Erb: This is the oldest style of busses in the cities fleet. Some new funding is being thrown at transit in Canada (this may change with our new Conservative government) so I imagine these busses are getting ready for the chopping block.
It'll be a shame if we lose them because... joey: it's an antique. we had busses like that here, back in the 80's. did you know some municipalities buy their transit busses used from ebay listings? willynelly: Old neighborhoods that at one time were nice for people to live and work in.It has happened from one end of this country to the other, when blacks move in and take over a neighborhood.Go to Chinatown,Greektown, little Italy or any ethnic area and these people generally take pride in their neighborhood.Show... Grange: I like the one of the front door , sort of a "jurasic park "look and feel...sushhhhhhhh, whats that noise ? ...do i hear raptor's clicking across the tile floor ? Susannah : Whipslinger - you wouldn't happen to be a Newark real estate agent woulg you? Or are you just talking about the Newark airport? Susannah : Awesome... Susannah : Kind of like when I was single, and I wouldn't throw out my Christmas tree till March! Susannah : I kind of like the red white and blue banners, it looks like they're left over from a party a few years back when they painted the window frames to match. Susannah : The social club looks like it was built from spare parts.Interesting take on recycling. Susannah : Is that wood shaker siding on the right wall (bathroom)? EvilGentleman: Actually, the park they have across the street also has a chair theme that has been there for years, with the two sculptures closest to the on and off ramps for the ville marie expressway having steel-tubing extensions on them that put metal chairs out towards the viewer, high above... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: That was exactly how it was. I may still go at it with a dremel. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: red white blue and yellow.
splishy slashy. robot: I'd love to see these in person... but where are they exactly? Somewhere over off broadway? Got an address poster?
In any case, long live graf. ^^ Susannah : Sorry - I meant the dark side of the moon - I can't spell on my computer I think its a left/right brain thing. Susannah : Its just the city for Gawd's sake - not the dark side of the room, yeah we like have plants, and air and water in Brooklyn just like everyone else. Nice photos by the way.
